My favorite Method Man album is actually 4:21. Everyone talks about Tical which was raw and had some classic joints on here, but 4:21 IMO was more consistent. Every track was great and his lyrics were insanely good. It's the sound of someone saying "fuck the critics. I'm going to keep it real and show you what I'm all about". It was only slept on because it wasn't promoted by Def Jam and because he's not 24 anymore and the hip hop fans have never been kind to rappers once they get older.
