@TheNinjaPicker You can find stuff with a cheaper metal detector yes. However more expensive units will perform much better with depth and target separation and conductivity of targets. When it comes to metal detectors you pretty much get what you pay for. Let me know if I can help. Thanks for watching!

Great vid. Question: I'm looking at one of these but most of my hunts would be in grass, dirt etc and maybe occasionally in the water. Will your detector work those areas OK ??? Thanks, jack

@jacklane61 Hey, Well I mean technically it would work in the dirt. HOWEVER, I do not suggest it in the dirt at all unless you were maybe relic hunting. It is a pulse machine and detects anything metal. This is a great machine for water and wet sand, but for dirt you may want to look at something else. The White's VX3 and the V3I are awesome in the dirt and wet sand. Not waterproof though.

I went to Gulf shores twice this weekend while visiting relatives---not too successful finding anything--just a very few modern coins and a gazillion beer and soda cans---if only beer and soda cans were worth a buck each---ha!---the sun was untolerably hot and it was almost torment to be down there in that heat!--------think I'll hit the beach after 5pm next time and hunt into the night
