Wholly fuck man, after couple retries i've tried the costume firmware that guy created ACTUALLY WORKS, i don't know what i did but i follow what you said like Open redsnow browse: IPSW (4.2.1) the original then it will say which one you want to install..-Install Cydia -Install Battery Percentage etc..

CHOOSE (just enter pwned DFU mode right now) Put A Click on that and Press NEXT.. Then just follow what RedSnow says. TheGoToiTunesRestureMake sure ur phone is in DFU mode,(Shift) (Costume firmware

@kauchar activating the phone requires you to have an ATT(if you're in the U.S.) sim card. It can be anyone's ATT sim card. This allows you to just get in to the phone so you can then switch it with another carrier. Try with the custom bundle and the original 4.2.1 firmware that came out on the 21 of November. several sites should have it.
