  • Sharks this?.sue

  • It's things like this that make me wonder why Jesus even died to begin with. Theologically, it's not a very sound point... I mean, I'm not ignorant of the reasons, but reality just completely destroys their relevance to the real world...

  • @ItsEasyIfYouThink

in ancient time, in order for your sin to be redeemed you need to offer a sacrifices like calf, ram, and the like. But "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son..." for the atonement of our sins so that we may not have to offer animals to Him. Christ died and He is the perfect sacrifice to show God's amazing love to the real world.

  • @sirvashx2 While I appreciate your response, consider why god is "redeeming me" and, through the death of Jesus, saving me from. Ultimately, he's saving me from himself, and so he killed himself to satisfy himself and to assure himself that he wouldnt have to kill me because of the agonizing afterlife he put in place. I mean, what? Why not just forgive everyone, and never even send jesus down? It's all a bit... jumbled, if you ask me. Not nearly as straightforward as other things...

  • @ItsEasyIfYouThink is that so... well why don't think of the characteristics of God? It's

basically He's perfect and holy no matter how you discern it. And human beings, after the fall of men in the garden of Eden, are exactly opposite. don't you agree?

  • @ItsEasyIfYouThink After we disobeyed Him, we became unrighteous and we cannot anymore be with His presence because Holy and unHoly can't just be with each other. If you will read the Bible, during the old times in order for us to communicate with Him we need sacrifices. Ive discused to you that earlier. But through Christ we can directly communicate to Him. without sacrifices and offerings. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except trough me".

  • @ItsEasyIfYouThinkSo why Jesus had to die even though He can forgive us? Fistly, we committed sin against Him. For us to be forgiven, we have to ask Him that. Second, By asking forgiveness does not mean we are free of sin. We will always be sinners, it's in our nature and we can't change that by ourselves. Third, Jesus' blood is the only blood that can wash away all sins. Through His sacrifice in the cross we are redeemed by accepting Him as our Lord and savior and following His ways.

  • @ItsEasyIfYouThink Believing in Him that He will change us according to His will and that is the truth. Once I was in your shoes asking the same question but one day I finally realize that I need to accept Him in my life and live with Him as I walk this walk of faith.Read John 3:16 and Romans 6:23.... It helped me alot to understand more....

  • @ItsEasyIfYouThink and if still you find it hard to, just believe anyway. In the coming day when the time comes that we will be all judged before HIm, ask Him that question. There you'll know the answer because there are things that are beyond our comprehension and understanding that only God can answer.

  • @sirvashx2 Well, if you are actually going to "look" and "find out" what god's characteristics are, then limiting them to already "perfect and holy no matter how you discern it" is sort of cheating, isn't it? I think an honest search for the nature of a being is to accept everything, the good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly, no? May is ask you the same question, that, among others, prevents me from believing in a god? I am very interested in your response.

  • @ItsEasyIfYouThink No friend, I'm not limiting it to just perfect and holy only. It's just to sum it all up. And no it's not even cheating. It's the truth. And God is more than a being. He is a supreme being. Everything in Him is good and beautiful. We cannot level ourselves to God because we are His creation.

  • @sirvashx2 I think you misunderstood me a bit. I wasn't implying that you thought that god was just "perfect and holy", rather I meant to say that if we are truly to attempt to identify the nature of god, we must have no pre-concieved notions of what that god will be like, and must accept what the evidence presents to us.

However, the question which I wanted to ask you is "Is your god bound by logic?" In other words, is he first and foremost necessarily logical?

  • @ItsEasyIfYouThink God is never bound by logic. Friend, that's true we should not have pre-concieved notions of a god because that would be in the form of idolatry. And true, we should accept the evidences presented to us which is the truth. And that truth is in the Bible.

  • @sirvashx2 Excellent. I am glad we are in agreement. The kicker is, my friend, that if god is not necessarily logical, and he is never bound by it, then anything he ever says/does/did becomes something we can never logically draw any conclusions from. For example: 1 of the ten commandments is "Thou shalt not kill". This seems straightforward, but coming from a being who may not be logical, this could ACTUALLY mean "Thou shalt not eat strawberries" or an infinite number of illogics.

  • Very strong concept. I forget that Jesus can still see, and love me. It's so hard to grasp sometimes. Thank you for this guys.

  • If I witnessed the crucifixion of Jesus (or anyone else)---I would be duty bound to stop it. The notion of substitutional atonement is a logical absurdity and a highly immoral concept. Guilt is not transferable---and a mans' moral stature is NOT at the mercy of someone else's actions.

  • Are they trying to hang Jesus cause he looks and dresses like a fag? Or is it cause all Christians want to worship dead people that never actually existed and this poor guy can make the cut?

  • I love this one. its all about Relationship not religion

  • this is important...to understand the terrible payment---but this has a good point....a lot of denominations don't realize, He is alive.

  • lol the hammer

  • Jesus dies for us everyday in the Eucharist and throughout the same Eucharist He rises again for Our salvation... It is so beautiful to celebrate that in His memory so that with Him, in Him and through Him we can rise again!! Praise the Lord!

  • soooo funny

    play dead. Lol

Tehnicly, Your not alive until the last 5 minites of church service

  • Jesus pawned death at the cross!!! :D

  • Our culture remembers Christ's death at Easter? While I understand what you're saying that doesn't make sense. But I do believe alot of us "Christians" act like He never rose from the dead. That makes no sense to me either. Easter is the Resurrection, guys!

Thanks for provoking the thought. I know that's what you meant to do. :)

  • "Jesus, please forgive me for my sin." WHACK!! LOL.

  • You Can't be SERIOUS??? Please. Do you know that Christianity and even the "OLD TESTAMENT" stuff, only appeared a few thousand years ago? Wake up and smell the REAL GOD

  • @hotrodbod1 If you don't believe this then why watch it?

  • @s1lverflames simply for shitz and giggles

  • speak the truth

  • Let’s not be focused on the tragedy of HIS death. Let’s focus on “WHY” HE died on that cross. GOD wants to have relationship with us that’s WHY HE sent JESUS. ^_^

  • @noviemantilla Yeah, he was immortal and he knew it, plus he knew he was giving up a crappy life as a human, for an awesome one as a god... so he didn't actually sacrifice anything. That's like saying I'm going to give up my Gallopy for a Lambo.

  • @chesterdjester He didn't trade being a human for being God. He was already God, who became a man so that he could pay the price (dying) for man’s sins. If Jesus’ only interest was to return to his place in heaven, he wouldn’t have gone to the cross, he didn’t need it for himself, we needed the gift of the cross (salvation) for us. And to clarify, we are all immortal; the major thing to be decided by us is where we will spend eternity. Do you accept his gift of salvation or not? Your choice.

  • @mac5226 See, from my point of view that makes about as much sense as a crazy homeless man on the side of the road telling me to accept my new alien overlords, there is no evidence that any of it is happening and we aren't eternal. We die and nothing happens. Unlike Christian's I don't believe in things because I want to, I believe in things because it's the truth. Once you understand why you deny all other gods, you'll understand why I deny yours.

  • @chesterdjester So how did we get here? Your homeless man sounds like scientists who agree that evolution is a flawed theory (single cells are too complex to be evolve spontaneously) and that there could be intelligent design. However they refuse to consider that the designer could be God. They’re much more comfortable in stating that an “alien race” brought the cells from another planet and seeded the earth. Assuming that science is the truth you believe in, what will tomorrow's truth be?

  • @mac5226 I don't know how we got here and neither do you. You read cryptic archaic books that have been altered and I admit I don't know. The homeless man I'm talking about is exactly what I'm talking about, not some "intelligent design" scientists. I'm straight up comparing christian's to delusional homeless men on the road crying end times. No one claims it was an alien race, and no true scientists have ever said we know where the firsts cells were formed. But I won't be ignorant andclaim I do

  • @chesterdjester Cryptic archaic books...You mean like the world is flat or the sun revolves around the earth? Yes science has advanced, but instead of explaining the origin of life, it only confirms an ever intricate complexity. It shows that yesterday's facts can become today's fables. The bible has been shown time and time again to be historically accurate and relevant after science has said it's wrong. Ultimately you need faith to have a belief and science has shown itself to be unworthy.

  • @mac5226 Cryptic archaic books as in the bible. Human's have known the earth was round since Aristotle, we've known the earth was not the center of the universe because of Capernicus. Both your examples btw were "biblical truths" and have nothing to do with science until science proved it wrong. Secondly the bible is not historically accurate, give me unbiased citation to prove your point before exclaiming it. Thirdly the reason you can make comments that stupid is because of computer science

  • @chesterdjester There isn’t space here to continue this. It began with my response to your post that Jesus didn’t sacrifice anything when he was crucified since he was God. Since then you’ve shown your true beliefs in that, “We die and nothing happens” (atheism). I choose to believe by faith in the miracle of the gift of salvation. My faith is largely born of the witness and martyrdom of the apostles. They knew who Jesus was; they witnessed, believed, proclaimed, and died for that truth.

  • @mac5226 and decided to not write any of it down until a couple decades later.

  • Kudos! I love it!

  • why do they say he isn't alive for the last five minutes of the service?

  • muy buenos!

  • I LOVE the truth!

  • great Message. Jesus is alive yesterday, today, and forever.

  • ha. awesome message.. my church is doing this skit for easter.

  • @brittanyantley She sprayed fake blood on His face

  • I don't understand why Laura sprays his face at the end????? If someone could explain that i would appreciate it. But besides not understanding that I loved it!!!

  • Case in point, without the focus on the tragedy of death, you cannot focus on the impact of the resurrection.

    Post 2 of 2

  • @JuliusCaesar108 You are right, but I do not believe that was the point and message of this video.

I think the video is about how "plastic Christians" come to church on Sunday ask forgiveness for all the things they did that week and thank him for dying for him. Then at the end of the service they start living for themselves again, until the next Sunday, instead of "living" with Him

  • Very creative sketch ... I do, however look at it from an opposite perspective. Sometimes we focus on the resurrection so much to the point where we forget the crucifixion, resulting in His death being sugar-coated.

The case can also be true with ordinary individuals. When loved ones perish there's almost a "What's the big deal about their death - they're in the presence of the LORD!" I think there needs to be a reminder that death is indeed, a tragedy.

    Post 1 of 2 ...

  • and since i saw this video for the first time i stoped putting the cross neckless,in my opinion the once who wear crosses believes in a dead God or in a God with no unconditional love...

  • Uf... I need subtitles for this!! Anyone could write what are they saying?

  • in what language?

  • oh spanish? here: Jesus: Drew! Laura! Es tan bueno verlos! Laura: Jesus? ....Que esta haciendo..? deberias estar murriendote! Jesus: Que?

  • Muchas gracias!!!! It's great!!! :D Now I can show it to my youth group, here in Spain. GBU sooo much ;)

  • i will, well atleast in spanish

  • Awesome guys

  • You know, Jesus, you're not taking your death very seriously! Haha, such an awesome skit!!

  • this was funny. !!!

  • I love this skit, is very funny ... and so real

Sometimes we see Jesus in that way, and he´s alive.

He´s a GOD of the living

    God bless you

  • Funny

  • lol

  • wow

  • Hey we should be doing this skit at my church. I like this skit a lot

  • I love this skit it reminds me of how me and others should remember that the cross wasnt death it was the beggining of life-the life Jesus gave us and we all should remember that Jesus gave his life so that we could live and live for him!

Glory to God in the highest! He is an awsome God!

  • If you know I am alive - why do you keep treating Me as though I am not - this reminds me of the scripture that saith "I am not the God of the dead, but the God of the living"

  • wow this one is awesome

  • That was great! Very well made.

  • I like how this goes to the point. AMEN JESUS IS ALIVE.

  • Amen Christ suffer so we can His Life. Short and simple message well done.

  • haha that was great! I see the message..it's just so awesome the way its done! I am gonna try to show it to my youth group!

  • this is so fresh and true! thank you guys

  • good vid!

  • I love the part in this skit when Drew says, "Be respectful of what You did."

See, I feel really disprespectful when I make comments like the one I left before this one. Like, unless I can mourn His death, I'm not a true believer...

But you guys make it so clear that He wants us to be enjoying life, and focusing on the life He lived, not just died.

Thank you so much for your contributions to youtube! I love your videos!

  • I just realized how true this is. At my church, we watched The Passion, the movie, specifically the parts where Jesus was beaten, flogged, and crucfied. "It's to remind us of His love for us," said my pastors. I always have wondered though, why does His love have to be so painful? And why did we had to watch some of the most violent scenes I had ever seen in my life. This movie was supposed to be about Jesus, right? The giver of life? Not about death.

  • Well, Jesus DID tell us to remember his death (see Luke 22:19). The point of this skit isn't that we should never think about his death or the pain it caused him, since that would go directly against his commandment to remember his death by observing communion with each other.

Instead, I think the point of this skit is that we should keep in mind that the cross was the BEGINNING, not the end, of our relationship with God. :-)

  • this is so good. you are so creative!

  • wow! all of your videos are frickin awsomee!!

i've probably watched em all in the last 2 hours hahaha but man they're amazingly good.

wow, i would love to see you all live!!!

  • ha ha that's great, "Jesus forgive me for my sins *swings hammer*" hmmm it's so true

  • lol yeah i love that part

  • very nice!

  • i like it. most def.
