@ruinedfaith09 Most printers have different quality settings where a lower quality uses less ink, but of course: the print really will be of a lower quality, so I don't know if that's what you want...
You could print a test page to see what it will look like, I wouldn't print the whole thing at once: of course the bigger you make it, the more ink you will need, there's no helping that I'm afraid! ;o)
Of course you can, at least if you don't forget until you're completely finished... ;o)
You could try to leave the soles of the shoes open until the very last, so you can work out exactly how much weight you need, but it can be a bit hard to shape the shoes if you don't glue the soles on first.
Most people that weigh down their models seem to do put in some weight right after they built the shoes.
i love your paper craft models ive made alot of the zelda ones and im making the cloud one right now your brilliant at this great job keep up the good work
Yeah, putting weight in the boots or glueing it to a stand can be a last resort if you really can't get your paper model to stand.
Especially characters sometimes have such an unstable pose, that it's just impossible to make it stand on its own...
But on many paper models, the balance is easily corrected by "bending" the paper model like this if you're careful enough not to actually break it. ;o)
how can i open it what program i need to use??

I'm very glad to hear that! Hopefully the rest will go just as well, have fun building! ;o)

The only problem Im having is pre-shaping, I watched your video, but I seem to uber suck at it.
narutouzumakie 2 years ago
Haha, I'm sure you're being a bit too hard on yourself! ;o)
The whole point of pre-shaping, is just to get the tension out of the paper:
For "polygonal" models, that just means scoring the folds and folding the parts before actually glueing anything together yet...
...and for "smooth" models, it just means curving the paper prior to actual assembly.
It's nothing really fancy, and if the way you managed it allows you to build the model, then you did it correctly. ;o)
Have fun!
