  • There's a shirley temple version too right? or does the shirley temple one have a different name?

  • @ubathegreat

Yes there is and it has the same name. That one was made in 1939.

  • @ubathegreat yeah, the Shirley Temple one is also called A Little Princess. they are both based on a book of the same name.

  • @silkensilence they are VERY DIFFERENT from the book though.

  • Absolutely amazing and touching :)

  • Please tell me I'm not the only one reminded of Edward Scissorhands {when she's twirling about in the snow}.

  • This movie is so beautiful in so many ways.

  • love the music!

  • I miss being young and watching these kind of movies over and over...

There is others that i loved but i can't even remember the names anymore =[

  • Thanks for posting this. It's my favorite movie clip of all time. It is about an awakening to the "I". Alphonso Cuaron is a brilliant man and Patrick Doyle was the only person who could write the right music for this movie and this scene. What a gift this movie was.

  • @kgmkitta well said.cuaron is ridculously talented..one of my fave movies :)

  • Thanks for posting this. It's my favorite movie clip of all time.

  • Haha he fell! Lol jk

  • Ive done this before, during the winter once when i was 9 and it was the most surreal feeling ever, i felt it so happy and full of hope and joy, its a truly amazing feeling.

  • i love this movie better than shirley temple. it seemed like shirley had a lot of ppl on her side and was much of a fantasy, here sara is alone in the world. this seen is so beautiful, although she doesnt ever talk to ram das in this film, they have a connection. in this scene she remembers who she was and with that brings her hope....i love this movie, so stunningly beautiful <3

  • I am 19 year old Puertorican male and I love this movie. I haven't seen this movie since my childhood until a few weeks ago in Netflix, and I saw with my mom like the old days. I dont remember this scene when I was little but seen it now made me cry. Who says a man cannot cry to a movie like this? I always called the Indian man "The Magic Man", I still do. If I ever have a daughter I will certainly watch this movie with her. Who knows even dance together like she does. =')

  • This film still makes me cry and I'm 24

  • This is so beautiful!

  • Love this scene so much and i remeber trying to copy her spinning when i was little, i just ended up getting dizzy tho lol.

  • to find joy in the midst of suffering is true beauty

  • @rent8907

    It is. It really is.

  • thank you sooo much for sharing the scene, the most magic of the whole movie

  • Amazing ^^,

    I LOVE this movie !

love the idea, love the acting and sure love the little princess Sarah <3

  • a very inspiring movie, every one should see...thanks for posting
