Double Barrel Bolt rifle by Fuchs and Szecsei of Germany

This most certainly is NOT the world's ONLY double-barreled rifle. B. Searcy & Co. designed and built 2 fully-functioning models, chambered for the .600 Nitro Express, as props for the movie "The Lost World: Jurassic Park." Steven Spielberg owns one of them, but the location of the other is currently unknown.

@2wingo Dude thats just a double rifle, not a bolt action double rifle. This really is the worlds only bolt action double rifle. There are tons of double rifle manufacturers out there but these guys built one thats bolt action.

How would you zero that thing, you'd need to have two sets of sights.

The biggest problem with this rifle is that even if you fire one barrel, BOTH rounds will be ejected once you open the bolt. In a double rifle only the spent round would eject, so if you fire once and then there was no action and you wanted to load again you won't have to comb the ground looking for the live round that got ejected.

So i have determined that this is the gun i must have, and the dirst time i saw it was in The Shooters Bible, only it was labled as a szecsei and fuch, available in a variety of differant chambers. Also its msrp was $499.00, can anyone please fill me in on what information i am missing.

if i may, allow me to correct some of the information on this post;

the rifles are Made in Austria NOT in Germany

this rifle is a .416 Remington

available calibres: from 17 HMR to 700 SSS

the base price of the rifle as of Feb 2011 is $65,000.00 USF

a typical weight is between 10 and 11 lbs (calibre dependent)

when this Vid was made it was the only double barrel bolt action repeater

Blaser copied this rifle and VERY poorly ,,ask them
