china is still a communist country and no human rights! they r just faking it for the olympics and rest of the world to see how they r humanitarians but they r not!
What about freedom from being poor? First the chinese ordered all stray dogs and cats be clubbed to death in Bejing. Then all the poor with ugly homes be evicted and homes demolished--with absolutely no compensation from the chinese government. And if they poor complain they become DINNER!!!
But there are no animal welfare laws in China. And countless dogs & cats have been boiled alive, skinned alive. I think if China adopts animal welfare laws the United States would really respect China. America has a lot of animal lovers and we are really angry what China does to them-they kill them with torture and agony. We have laws against that. Believe me we do. You can even go to federal prison if you do dog fighting with interstate involvement. Like Michael Vick.
this is a good Country worry about dogs and cats in your own country if you worry about dogs and cats in other countries you'll never be satisfied because you will never get the results you want we can't ship horses to slaughter to be eaten by Europeans because of animal rights people then the horses wind up suffering in pens for the rest of there lives or being killed and cremated
And he can also enjoy eating sweet & sour Kitty and Puppy kung poa! Under the guise of chicken and beef dishes of course. Chinese even eat rat-and it can be cooked to look like chicken and many people say it tastes just like chicken! Enjoy!!
Everybody can go to church in China. Or temples or something else. Bush just worshipped with chinese and then said "Chinese do not have religion freedom"???
Although the Chinese Constitution guarantees freedom of religion, in fact, ther is very freedom in China today. Article 36 of the Chinese constitution states that:
Citizens of the People's Republic of China.
No state organ, public org or individual may compel citizens to believe in, or not to believe in, any religion; nor may they discriminate against citizens who believe in, or do not believe in, any religion.
The state protects "normal" religious activities...etc.
History will remember Bush to be great president one day. Amen

I got no problem with dog-eating. Just the way they're slaughtered. It should be quick and without prelude.

I have a different outlook on strays if the Chinese eat them fine there's way to many dogs and cats that are overloading shelters
They should have provided new homes for the people they relocated
