  • You look like somebody, you act like somebody, you sound like somebody, Michael Jackson, Thriller anybody?

  • anyone remember "CRASH THE CAR"??? loved that....a friend's supposed to be converting a buch of brilliant to digital for me but i've yet to see it...can this be got on disc??

  • I think this is great! I have the single of this and it's shorter (and not as good as) the LP version... I haven't heard this for sooo long.

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I have the 12" vinyl of this, and Kiss The Lips of Life. Been looking all over the internet for this, thanks for posting it! This is one of my favorite songs.

  • Love this song especially the guitars. This was included on the 'Kiss The Lips of Life' CD released by Wounded Bird Records in the US in 2009 if anyone's interested. Not sure about a video.

  • Holy Fuck !!! I was beginning to think I imagined this song !! Haven't heard it since '86 and could never ever find it anywhere !!! Does anyone know if there's a video ?

  • I love S.A.W. This is a very good production. But I also love Kylie or Sinitta and all their other productions.

  • the original Hannah Montana !!

i'm really pleased this has been rereleased and will be buying it.

If anyone's heard the Kim Appleby song (I'll Be There) that's almost exactly like the Michael Jackson track of the same name, er this is er Thriller with much the same thing done to it. Except this is a SAW production. All I can think the reason for not being a huge hit is the similarility to Princess and Mel & Kim..

Vocal wise this is pretty much the first Mariah Carey record!!! BUY IT!!

  • Brilliant released 3 singles in 1985/6, all of which made the UK top 75 but none made the top 40, 'It's A Man's World', 'Love Is War' and 'Somebody'. All the tracks were produced by Stock Aitken Waterman. The 'Night Train Mix' of the James Brown classic 'It's A Man's World' was probably their best production peaking at no. 55 in October 1985.

  • Haven't heard this in years! Thanks for dusting it down and posting it. Brings me right back to summer '86. Nice memories.
