  • Thanks for posting but .. it's not real? Isn't there any real operations or display footage available?

  • @Venus42 I dont have hold of any however theres all sorts of real old footage of the v bombers lurking all over the internet.

  • Comment removed

  • @supervulcan222 OK, thanks anyway! Such beautiful aircraft, all three...

  • well done. a brilliant tribute. If you like the v bombers i suggest you read vulcan 607 (if you haven't already!) it is about the vulcan and victor flying south to the falklands to battle the argentinians. it is a gripping read!

  • some great videos thanks for sharing them!! LOSE the music please?

  • Saw the Vulcan display at Waddington this year. Truly epic aircraft and nice to see it in the skies once more

  • Thanks for bringing back memories of the 3 V's. loved all the 9 minutes of this video.

Can anyone tell me if their is a film or video that shows the 3 V's flying together?.

  • is this a flight sim or just a computer generated video?

  • This is a tribute - and well done.

  • comp generated poo

  • No Flinty i think your in a majorty.

  • I think i heard it on Fantaisia

  • OMG i vaugly recognise this song whats it called??

  • The Victor best looking machine ever built.

  • I say the vulcan but thats just me XD

  • When are they comming out for FSX as I already have the Vulcan. the victor and the Valiant would complete the set

  • A great shame that the Vulcan overshadowed the Victor. Although eventually relegated to being 'only a tanker' it was, too, a phenomenal aircraft that played a huge role in the Falklands, the first gulf war and in many other theatres. One of the greatest aircraft the RAF ever had. Tankers can be very useful - alas they are less glamorous that bombers and I doubt we will ever see one flying again :-(

  • I agree, without Tankers the Port Stanly raids wouldn't of been very succsessfull...

  • Beautiful Aircraft, thankfully never needed to perform the task for which they were intended

  • great visuals and edits but howz about one to British 50's and 60's music from the time of the aircraft 'Telstar' 'the Shadows' etc ??

  • I saw the vulcan at farnborough airshow

    brap

  • Great Video I Love The Vulcan And The Victor My Dad Got To Work On Both Of Them The Lucky Bugger

  • where can i find the victor?

  • stunning

  • were did you get the victor from?

  • GREAT VIDEO!! The only thing I have to say is that, instead of american or italian, I would have prefer some british music ( say Elgar, or Vaughan Williams...). I like mostly the Victor and Vulcan...by the way, it'd be nice to see a similar video about Lancaster, Stirling and Halifax...thanks for posting it, and greetings from an argentinian aircraft fan!

  • were did you gte all the aircraft from?

  • mmm nice!

  • Excellent footage and associated music - thanks a lot.

  • AAAA.071752 APR 2008 Thanking for posting .......AR.

  • fantastic aircraft.. pity we no longer have them in service..thank you for reminding us what they looked like...well done

  • lol, youve probably been put on some CIA black list for saying that. People in big black cars been following you home recently?

  • Good video, so USA has B52, B1b and B2, Uk has erm... fuck all for a bomber. About time they started development and get some up! A nice cross between the Vulcan and Victor please or a contemporary version of each...

  • not really much need for big bombers. all the uk's nukes are based on submarines and if we need to bomb something we use tornadoes.

bombers of that size are just for carpet bombing, which is only good for mega death against civilians.

  • briggsNF - you're not wrong, however, it's thought that the next generation of fighter bomber aircraft types will be unmanned. They'll all be remote controlled from outside the theatre of war which is no bad thing as you lose no pilots and training is minimal. Aircraft will be cheaper too. The unmanned units will be able to get closer before delivering ordnance so the ordnance can be smaller and more can be delivered.

  • That sounds pretty decent. I've seen some vids of those spy drones but didn;t know they were expanding on it.

  • Briggsnf - I was in Scotland a couple of years ago and slept in a forest on one night. There was a lot of activity that some may think was the goings on of UFO's. But I delved into it a bit bit. The Americans are testing and developing their next generation planes/drones etc in the north of England/Scotland and they are very fast and not that loud. I had just the moonlight in the mountains area, but could see the shapes. Americans are testing here as it's more likely that they are not found out!

  • Not meaning to start another argument but it wasnt exactly smart insulting british planes on a video where most of the comments are coming from british people

  • where did you get the victor and valiant from?

  • Only if the government hadn't dicomissioned them, they were all great aircraft but I think the Vulcan was the most aerobatic & fearfull.

  • They did have coulor then you know!

  • oops! Sorry.

  • a real tribute, well done!!

i cannot forget that distinctive howl from the four Olympus 201's... last time i saw XH558 for real was back in 1993, and this FS video really does her justice. Thanks very much and well done once more!

  • Thank you!

  • I'm only 13 but i've seen XH558 fly :) the noise went through me when it took off , all my hairs stood on end ^^

  • yep i was 14 when i saw it first fly and i had the same feeling :D

  • I was working on them at the very end along with the Victors, can you imagine a whole base of them in the mornings :-)

  • @adebrownmedia I can imagine that. been there, done that, got the T shirt. Where did you work ? I was on the airframe team 3 working in 4 hanger at Waddo but spent last few months there on MEDA.. loved watching the aircraft scramble during Tacevals. Remember the sound of that rapid start when all 4 engines burst into life? The FS model in this video has a cammo underside, sure we only did that in 1982 for the Falklands.

  • Superb effort - nice to see what might have been - in colour too!

  • Oh... The reason i did that was to give them an atmosphere of its day. I gave you a little chance to see all of them in colour. Sorry about the bad quality. If i saved it to my computer it would be a huge file cause i used movie mk and fraps for this.

  • crap, screwed up the word "Beautiful":p

  • Beutiful. Gotta love the Vulcan.
