  • @TheBackYardNinjas I can do a backflip and a frontflip on a trampoline without jumping will that help me on the ground at all. Plz answer

  • That was....somewhat of a disappointing explanation...

  • I just hope u do more vids really like ur vids and u really know to explain the problems to do some flips and more... just thanks for ur vids hope u do +

  • And sorry bad english im from brazil just some english class kkkkk...

  • Man i was seeing ur vids and i see this and i just begining to front and backflip and i did it on the pool... and now i tryed on the ground and i know exactly about what are u talking about this vid i do my front flips but i jump and when i see im on the ground. Sometimes i fall almost streight and another times almost with my back on the ground just lower but never with back even the first time i did with feet first. Really thanks for front, back flips tutorial all. I learn with u guys.

  • Go try one! *runs off and starts levitating* LMAO

  • Just what I needed.

  • hey, imma tell you guys an easy way to do a pause backflip, using air sense, run very fast, then roundoff into your backflip. remember to jump to do the backflip, you get more air. so, anyway, concentrate on a point directly in front of you from when you land a roundoff, trust your inertia and continue looking forward until you land, if you did it correctly, you should feel like you were floating when you did the flip, practice and experiment to get the best results

  • Nice! Really helpful. Thanks guys

  • great video! good job!

nice guys....you with the blue t-shirt are so sweet:P

  • so if you just keep doing front flips your air sense will just develop over time?? oh and does the dizzyness after the flip go away too its really holding me back from proper practis

  • i have real problems with this thing rly ;/ my frontflip usually looks like your at the begin of movie ;/

  • Haha, my friend faceplanted hard on his trampoline today. He was trying a double front flip and ate it. It was hilarious. Not like I can talk, I landed on my face doing a front handspring.

  • Oh i have that lol i just relized that i can do it i just didnt know what it was... i backflip and its easier but my front flips suck

  • uhh i learned double frotn on a trampline..

i have no idea where i am in the air so i eat it alot so is the only way to learn by just ppracticing pretty much?

  • Spider sense?

  • i always called it physical memory, because when you learn how to do a flip and you keep doing it and get better you have a better since, but when you stop for a while then your body slowly forgets what it feels. just like studying for a test, read, memorize, use. if you don't memorize, you forget, you guys are good though

  • your thinking about muscle memory. your body gets used to doing it that after so long its almost second nature and you dont have to try much. this is when you know where you are in the air. when you just start a move or begin a move with a new type of movement you dont normally have control in the air nor can you see much. this is what we call air sense

  • @parakidd about the test thing

    that is sooooooo not true

  • for me it is true, maybe not for you or other people, but every one is different. and for me, thats is just how it works for me. i could have probably used a better analogy than that. but you get the idea.

  • Airsense is more of a timing issue really, I did a couple backflips on a trampoline, and did fairly well, landing on my feet/butt.

But, when I tried to do some flips into a pool from a diving board, it was a little harder, trying to time myself from a higher point to a lower point.

So really, you guys are trying to explain people's sense of timing in the air, knowing when to tuck and untuck their legs, and when to put their hands on the ground, etc.

Hope I helped with the explanation!

  • That really made me think and made me realize why I always seem to be confused like that when I land, I'm never sure when I will land something or when I'll land on my knees or ass or something.

So to gain air sense, just try and focus on things around you while doing tricks?

I have a trampoline, which is very helpful, so should I just try to improve my air sense on there?

  • ok so ur saying to do it on a trampoline but, for a gainer thats rly hard... frontflips... bakflips... easy... but a gainer? i tried to do a gainer on a trampoline and made an idiot out of my self, can u guys do it? I can do a nice one into my pool though.

  • yeah, you need to work to it, but a gainer on a tramp and ground are VERY different

  • OMG !!

thankyou soo much, i was soo confused at how i could land some flipps but not others, if i did them on concrete or infront of people i could land them, but not on my own. i dont have 'air sense' on my own. lol, need to be more concentrated on my own. lol . thx

  • no problem =)

  • Corona! I drunk that beer and it's awesome

  • its...different

  • hey guys i have a very strong "air sense" and i can walk and run my way trough my entire house

but i still cant land a good front flip

could you guys help me XD

  • yeah, you need to get airsense for frontflips by doing them

  • thanks guys.
