I don't agree with Obama's policies economically, but do I think the social damage someone like Gingrich could do via judge appointments outweighs the damage another 4 years of Obama's economy could do? Why do you have an issue with government schools? I have an issue, they are radical socialist motherfuckers who care only about disciplinary and not teaching academics. Teachers unions, just look at Wisconsin, care more about earning 2,000 a month rather than educating American youth. Liberal teachers (not all) teach that if you get rid of family, get rid of religion, than student will worship the state and that is Communism. They only see black and white in public schools. To be honest, I want to be a teacher, but if it wasn't about the money, then they wouldn't be bitching. If teachers got paid low in the beginning, than there was probably a reason for that. Cutting pay is wrong but at the same time I am not advocating offering more money to teachers. There is push and pull. Students push, teachers pull. There is a heck of a lot of pulling and not a lot of pushing. Maybe hold parents and students accountable as well. At any rate raising or lowering salary doesn't adjust IQ.

The voucher system for private schools and health care would be the better way to go for the people of Canada (if not the US as well.) In Canada you have to wait 6 months at least for a hip replacement. If we had a voucher system, the government would give you the hip replacement voucher which you would take to the government hospital, wait 6 months and be treated. You could take the voucher to a private clinic, pay extra, and be treated within two weeks. Costs and waits would be reduced for all

When I was a child I decided that public school (Canada) was not helping me get ready for life. So I got a summer/after school job at 14 and paid my own private school from then on. It was a lot of hard work. I was tired all of the time but I don't regret it at all.

Today kids are not aloud to do anything for themselves. I appreciated my education because I paid for it with my hard work. Thats when I got sold on capitalism.
