  • I have always wanted to try this because lot of the old masters used gouache. I really like the subject matter of this picture too. Great job mate.

  • @ichbindarren really? I thought designer's gouache was a relatively new medium. As far as I know, oil is the most common medium used during the old master's times.

  • @Malicious2094 Opaque watercolors have not been respected as their own discipline as long as oil painting, however the method has been around for a long time. Thats just my understanding though ;-)

  • @parisgala my fault, I was thinking it was specifically designer's gouache

  • Wouldn't a hair dryer be easier to use than a blow torch?
