Rei is my 3rd favourite Character after Kaworu and Mari, which was a hard choice since all of them are so awesome. I really love her relationship with Shinji and how she brings out the best in him. And she's so pure and fascinating.
@KendrixTermina mari is fun but generaly shes very cliche, this was done on purpose ofcourse, by comparison rei is so much more complex and interesting....

I'd say mostly mysteriously creepy as far as the music. Rei is truly a mystery. I do like her though. After End of Evangelion though, I was mildly disturbed.
