Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance Walkthrough : Part 1

I'm thinking about getting into the Castlevania series, and I was just wondering if there was one anybody here would recommend I start on? I've only played about 2 minutes of an old NES one, and never really got into it.

Ugh now THAT was giving me a headache. anyways the bosses are pretty fun to fight with...well some of them. I completed the game though and *SPOILER* now its a different character, I dont know if I should continue on but yeah.

My friend found this game at a random Target store and gave it to me because she said it might work for my gameboy lol I tried it out and the game pretty much scared me shitless. Idk why, but hey come on I was young and I was into other things besides violence and fighting and scary images. Anyways, as I got older I decided to give it a shot and I loved it! I was having such a pain trying to get through to all the levels and finding out about the castle secret thing and the map.....

I appreciate the videos, but I will never understand why you guys that make these walkthroughs feel the need to mad dash through everything you do. I understand that it may save a bit of video time, but it's counter to what people watch these videos for in the first place. We need to see the stuff you're equipping and get a feel for the environments you're racing through. Can you guys not just play these games at a more reasonable pace?

I will feel kinda stupid but you know that book thing next to your hearts? What is that because i have no idea on how to use it and what they do. I know when you break stuff they pop out sometimes and it switches between the two but what are they, how do you use them, and what do they do? Please comment someone.

@RIPcliffburton86 sub weapons? You just press up+attack to use them. Heart cost are different per items. However when you find a magic spellbook. You use a altered attack for that elemental book for a cost of some magic power only.

Lol, why does people complain that there are no commentary? I like it when people shut up and just play the game so we can hear the sound of the game. And like someone else stated already, "Let's Play" is indeed a walkthrough type w/ commentary.

Man, I keep imagining Richter's theme starting at 3:26 cuz of a remix melody I have of some of the CV themes, and Divine/Opposing Bloodlines starts right after there at that second.

allright so I got to the part with the cutscene where death says there are two castles, and in that room the doors are suposed to open a portal so I can use that portal go to the other castle and get the "castle A and castle B" written on my map, but nothing happened!

what do I do?

i got the double pack just as recomended but it was coming from taiwan so it would ship out in 1-2 days but come in 1-3 weeks and i can't even save in harmony of dissonance! whenever i save and wait until the next day to play it the saved file is deleated T_T

ive watched all the episodes and i decided to watch em again for fun and i still love em :)

I just want to tell u that the fastest way (at least i think so) is by stay on the ground during the giant bat fight and dodge the small (nooby) fire ball and when i drills down to hit u just hit it cuz itll stay there for a couple of seconds long snoough to take of LOADS of hp without getting hit :)

And its WAAAAAAAAY easier (at least i think so =])
