Well, today the national debt has actually surpassed our GDP and Americans are sick and tired of Obama's broken promises and outright deceptions! It's time to take a bold stand for real dramatic change in Washington, before we look like Greece

Honestly. When you get to a point when your economy DEPENDS on your government going deeper and deeper into debt and if you stop spending your econonomy tanks...then we've got a problem.
The government should have ZERO influence on the economy except for regulatory measures. The debt ceiling should have no impact on the economy!

Raising the debt ceiling is like extending the .gov a higher credit limit, so they can spend MORE MONEY THEY DON'T HAVE, costing us BILLIONS IN INTEREST.. If our .gov does not stop over spending, the debt will be over 20 TRILLION by this time next year... They're over spending on purpose so they can usher in a new one world currency system through the IMF which is another debt based system.. We're becoming SLAVES to the banks.. It's criminal!!!

It's negative and focused on taking on Obama, when it should also be targeting the issue: spending is out of control, and raising the debt limit is not a step in the right direction, only cutting spending is. I'm afraid (figuratively, no lib scares me) the message won't resonate in a positive way with swing voters.

I don't completely blame Republicans for backing down from Obama and Dems....once in DC, they are threatened by Unions, left-wing groups and our own media with distorted messages and spin. If they try to cut anything, these groups control the dialogue and define them as being against the elderly, the less fortunate and describe them as the devil. Those of us backing them don't have the big money to keep up with their campaigns against them.
