the most helpful technique for me in shedding this illusion of seperation is to think of someone else not as 'other' but as 'other self'...when we can view people in this light, it becomes easy to feel pride in their accomplishments and pain in their suffering.

if i could snap my fingers and have one wish come true instantly, i'd wish that every person on earth could shed the veil of illusion that makes them believe in seperation. we are all connected on a level so basic that to inflict suffering on another is to inflict it on self. this is not some feel good metaphysical B.S., this is reality and the rediscovery of a physics model we already knew but have forgotten. we are deep within the illusion of isolation. kinda sad.
