Why are there no other comments. This information is something we should all know about. Makes an excellent analogy to why we should reprocess our Nuclear fuel as France does. Burying used nuclear fuel is like burning the bark off a wooden log and then burying it. France has created enough usable waste fuel to last 14 years without any external uranium source. 2000 tons of nuclear waste per year from 104 US nuclear plants. 100 million tons per year of waste from 1500 coal powered plants in US.
