  • the reason we cant find anymore of these mysterious, unique animals is because MAN kills them all ! Sad!

  • completely SHI* SHOW that will show you some insignificant cheetah with bigger spots instead of a live Mokele mbembe or Kongomato not worth watching at all with cheesy 60 mystery sound efects i give it 2/100 for effort

  • @Lastinterceptor They couldn't show a live Mokele-Mebembe or Kongomato because nobody can find one you retard!

  • I've always been a big fan of cryptozoology stuff. Anyone else got wind that that Founder of PREHISTORIC CHANNEL has just written his first thriller book called THE ICE GORILLA. I read that the ICE GORILLA book is being looked at by movie producers in regards to turning the book into a movie. This will depend upon how well book sales go. I haven't read the book yet. Has anyone read THE ICE GORILLA book yet????

  • Kevin!

  • a striped cheetah. i must be blind. i couldnt see the difference between the 2.there are 2 stripes running down its back. ther4s a big difference between caslling it striped or spootted wth a couple of stripes

  • the lizzard legend might be something to do with the australian megalainia seeing as its so close it may be a smaller decendant that managed to escape being hunted to extinction?

  • LoL whats with the horror kind of music?? are they trying to scare the viewers with this story??

  • The Moa is fucking extinct get over it! the only surviving relict in New Zealand is the Tahake flightless bird rediscovered in 1948 and it was smaller than the moa that's why it somehow survive if you looking a giant flightless bird there's one on Sesame Street:Big Bird a.k.a Big Yellow Turkey!

  • @skeaneable What do you mean relic? The TAKAHE is not the only flightless bird from pre-settlement times to survive to this day and is not the closest relative to the Moa in New Zealand. And if you would like an example of a giant flightless bird, look to the ostrich or emu. And there is a possibility it still lives, several bird species native to NZ thought extinct have been found alive decades later.

  • Arthur Keith did'nt want his son to be named an ape...so he argued against the man

  • visit sri lanka

  • yo whats up with the music when the guy opens the book about the mowa, shit freaks me out lol

  • Sea monster novel see video book trailer

  • They cornered a Cheetah with a hot air baloon?? That's pretty amazing.

  • I miss this show. Wish it was still one like once a month. I remember a few years ago Discovery had a few interesting shows in the morning like Best Evidence, ect.

  • Damn nature you scary!

  • That creature is scary. It was probably more afraid of the men taking its picture, though.

  • is there such a thing as a standard frenchmen?

  • "sadly",,,Sadly what? what happened? did someones head get split with a beak?

  • I found this monkey scary when I saw this documentary when I was a kid!

  • dude the moah looks like an ostrich

  • biggest bird ? what abpit the skeleton found in excess of 30 foot wingspan

  • "the picture of the strange ape" <-- perhaps the expedition should have put one of themselves in the photo to show size etc and authenticity, the cheetah well it looks nice, the lizard well all i saw was an eyewitness account (hear say) but we did see a long lizard but no way could we tell its size, the moa well all i can say is the japanese need some fashion sense.

  • There is a temple in Cambodia they found in the jungle, I think its Angkor. It has a stegosaurus sculpture on one of the walls. It's only 500 years old! What they hell they talking about dinosaurs died 65 million years ago. Propaganda!!!

  • A good bit of advice in cryptozoology :

NEVER KILL WHAT YOU HUNT. DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN A POSITION WHERE YOU WILL NEED TO DEFEND YOURSELF. AND DEAD SPECIMENS SUCK ASS COMPARED TO HIDDEN LIVING ONES.

    that is all :D

  • iM sorry how crap is the music. What were we thinking in the 80s?

  • The moloch axis demoniacs that currently control the SHOW in all the Western Nations TELL YOU DAILY THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE! These inselubrious $hits are the SAME that fly airplanes over EVERY major city in the USA & CANADA and tell you the planes are leaving a vapour trail as they pass by by a vapour trail dissipates rather quickly as opposed to the purposeful chemical trail they spray that GROWS into a cloud containing heavy elements and WHO knows WHAT else. 4 Weather modification program.

  • @oasisthunder where r u getting this info from?

  • are we really to stupid for learning from past?

    earth is round...impossible

    driving a boat underwater...impossible

flying faster then speed of sound...impossible

    travelling to moon...impossible

    giant squid...impossible

    ufos, bigfoot, cryptides....impossible (?)

  • They all dissappeared because of us....us humans..

  • i live in South Africa and we have a sanctuary called De Wildt Cheetah Reserve. King Cheetah's are actually a little bigger than normal ones and they are darker. They are unbelieveably beautiful animals

  • king cheatah it cool

  • i love Cryptozoology :D

  • who doesnt xD

  • mua emu !

  • oooooooohhhhh a cheatah with a stripe

  • I only want to say that

    at 3:50

    cute!

    ;)

  • loy's ape is really a homoputhicus humanuthucus

  • I believe in the De Loys Ape

  • Music at 2:28 is so friggin' far ahead of it's time!! Shit like that didn't start coming out of Detroit until the last 2 years of the 80's.

  • these Japanese

  • For an EXCELLENT morphological analysis of de Loy's ape, please read pg. 313 of Jerome Clark's wonderful book "Unexplained." Also GOOGLE in words "Zana in Russia" about a real documentated case of a apparent female Homo heidelburgis or a Neanderthal captured in Georgia, east europe in the 1800's. Even had half human offspring that survive today! The New Guinea dragon now has a scientific nomenclature, it is Varanus culperti, Komodo dragons same genus.Look up 1990's Spindlehorn Ox, Viet-Nam!

  • Tulsa Ok all the way babey!

  • U rock! I've been looking forever for this show!

  • The king cheetah is not a completely different species, nor even a subspecies, but simply a cheetah with a fairly slight genetic mutation (i.e. dark striping down it's back).

  • screw the cheetah what about that bigg ass lizard

  • @wasanga456 thatwhati am talkin about

  • @wasanga456 yes

  • is it just me but is this king cheeta a nonsense. 3 stripes down its back doesnt make it some kind of king. 2 feet bigger, yes, a couple of stripes,so what

  • Actually the king cheetah is real, and has been traced to recessive genes carried by both parents of the aforementioned king cheetah.

  • i can see its real,i was pointing out it is hardly a startling discovery. It isnt hugely diffent to the 'regular cheetah'. its the same size etc.,.. except for 3 little stripes down its back

  • THE DE loys ape could be real....but why does it look like it needs a stick to stay up is it Dead?

  • yes it's dead.

  • yea apparently a small gropu hunted it down and shot it

  • moa birds can't fly. They're like ostriches...

  • o ryt cheers for dat info

  • 'And then a standard Frenchman' LOL.

  • Francois De Loy got his brother, a primate expert who was living in Texas, to compare spider monkeys with the De Loys ape photo and his brother told him there was no way the creature could have been a dead spider monkey with its tail hidden or cut off.

  • That De Loys ape looks just like my ex-girlfriend!

  • That De Loys ape is just a dead spider monkey with its tail cut off or hidden!

  • I'll sell everything i have, even my soul to the devil, to go to South Africa and bag me a king cheetah!

  • You will rue the day you said that.

Think about it when you finally kill a cheetah.

Burn in hell for an eternity for a cheetah kill?

Drop the "b" & "t" from your user name.

I am not trying to be insulting.

    Just helpful.

  • This is one of my most fav eppys in Mysterious World. Thanks for uploading!

  • Call me ignorant, but there doesn't seem much to choose between the spotted cheetah and the king cheetah. I love cryptozoology, though. Thanks for posting all this great stuff, junmn77!

  • that moa story is hilarious as everyone in new zealand knows the moa is extinct and that it being a violent animal is prob all some made up BS by the ancient maori's.

  • good i like things like this thanks for posting this interesting
