I'm a Chelsea fan (proper one by the way) and although I don't like Ferguson I sure as hell respect him (I've defended him against a lot of people... especially when I was in Spain during his rant against Real Madrid thought that was quality) respect him much more than I ever did Wenger. He's achieved a lot and has stayed so long at one club. His Aberdeen achievements were impressive as well!

That story's interesting, although I see him going to a La Liga club after Inter Milan (as he has nothing left to prove in England) and then on to the Portuguese national team to wrap things up. That said, if he did go to United it would bring some colour back to the national game here. Plus Mourinho would be honoured to succeed Ferguson, their rivalry was always professional and based upon mutual respect whereas Wenger, Benitez and Keegan always took it too personally.

If it isn't Mourinho then it could be O'Neill in future years... I thought it might be Mark Hughes or Roy Keane but this season has shown they still have a lot to prove before getting anywhere near that stage.
