@corto9090 Cheap techno from 30 years ago? With all due respect Mister corto9090, that would put you at 3 years of age, just about when you discovered the taste of your own boogers. Your comment is at best feebly amusing. I believe it is time to get out of your sandbox and catch up with techno music history. It is a trip for open minded sonic explorers, and I invite you to dig deeper into it. Music brings people together, let's learn from pros and novices alike. I wish you all the best ;}
Hey dude I just orderd a PRO and I will have the same setup as you with the electibe, and I would like to know how the MIDI works, can you use it as if you had the KP3, and add echos and reverb etc to the sounds on the PRO or vise verce?
@CoxDzul hi, I just used the kaossilator as a looper, you can use the kaossilator for some fx like the kp3 but it is limited to vocoder delay and echo...
@KaslarProductions It's one of many setups & I like the Kaossilator beats and how to control them. Actually I used from the electribe a bass drum. In this case: 7 steps Electribe w. bassdrum on step 1 + 16 steps Kaossilator sampling and internal beat.
@darklink4025 thanks! everyone can make this kind of music...About my background: I am a visual artist but I also studied electronic music in the 90ths. The electribes are great instruments and you can use them also for so many other things!
@curtaineater tanks! They are both great machines with a lot of potential, though I prefer the sound of real analog machines (especially the analog hp & lp filters) ...
not the best ending but nice!

why use the kaossilator drums when you have an Electribe RIGHT THERE?!
IMO the Kaoss drums are weak.....

How do you create the polyrytmic? Do you have different tempo or length on the maschines, or is it some fx?
idiomis 1 year ago
@idiomis hi, electribe 7 steps - kaossilator 16 steps sampling.

This is pretty awesome. How much of a musical background do you have, and how much helped you learn how to use the electribe?
