Thank you for not watering down the cold hard truth - it is a hard pill to swallow, but a necessary truth in order to know what to do to adjust to the train wreck ahead.
kobiectwo zniszczy każdą gospodarkę, nie ma na to rady, kobieta jak każda chora psychicznie osoba nie zdaje sobie sprawy z tego że jest chora i myśli że postępuje właściwie.
I believe the best thing to do now is learn to grow your own food, sell your car, sell your home (while it is worth a dime), create a small cabin on a trailer, buy cheap land that you share with others. Use compost toilets, solar and wind. Learn to entertain by means of singing songs & reading books. Work where you can when you can while that is even an option, stash that money away as much as possible. Learn to be self sufficient and not reliant on fossil fuels. Actually, we will be better off
I do however agree with what you said about people finding their way into the government and taxing the hell out of a wealthy populous. This fact is of particular importance in a democratic government with universal suffrage like our own. The reason why Western societies and economies are in decay is because of the unprecedented increase in the voting franchise.
Roman government also grew in order to create new markets for merchants in foreign territories. Rome's trade was only "free" within the empire's borders. Rome's taxes grew not only to support its military, but also because of the population decline caused by the Antonine Plague. In fact, the Antonine Plague and other successive waves of diseases were the primary causes for the fall of the Western Roman Empire.
I don't believe in the notion that small governments always grow into massive governments. I assume when you say "massive" you mean that the government enforces more economic regulations and more taxation. You oversimplified the example of Rome. Roman government grew for a number of reasons. It grew in order to ward off barbarian invaders of the Italian peninsula. It grew because of conflict between Italian tribes.
I don't hear the politicians telling me to hate immigrants. I hear them telling me to love and shelter illegal immigrants who do not want to integrate into American society. They want me to love and shelter illegal immigrants who seek to take advantage of the welfare state that I already oppose. I have no problem with immigrants who come here legally and can prove that they can be an asset to our nation, but I refuse to accept any and all immigrants just because they're humans.
You lost credibility when you made your blatantly false claim that women voting created the system for social security, etc. you talk a good line, swell delivery, but you are full of ----,
The social balance was not changed when women became emancipated! How silly! Please UNDERSTAND that the only way we can reinvent our society is to stop forcing people, either overtly by refusing to allow abortions or 'day after' pills etc, or by religious and peer pressure telling us it is 'wrong' to NOT bear a child if you either don't want it or cannot support it
We have the ability to control the number of people on this planet. Each civilization that you mention had less population & control
1) the small govt IS doomed to become Big Govt, but only because the population is encouraged to grow as much and as fast as it can. If we made it so that only children who were REALLY wanted were born, we could begin to address many of the issues.
2) the economies of the world are all run by the same small group of the extremely wealthy. They created the system . Now we need to take OUR money back from the banks, by making it ourselves and investing the interest in the US instead of the banks
@MrThrock09 I listened to conversations about World Issues, including Population, that were discussed around our dining table when I was a child, and 50 years ago I realized that we already had too many people on the planet, and that I did not want to contribute to the problem, so I do not have any children of my own, although I do have a step-son who is now 38 years old. Who is Chairman MOA? What do you mean by 'oblivious'? I think you may be referring to yourself?
@bluebluesdancer Over populated? WTF do you get your facts from? We only use one third of the world, the other 2 thirds are vacant land! The gov is hoarding this to use as they feel fit. LOL, your ignorance amazes me, sorry to say. You shouldn't listen to the TV so much. The news you watch, is a cancer. Believe what you will, but the truth is stranger than fiction. I just suggest you do some research independently. Not to be rude, but you are just fell in the trap havin no kids.
@edwinr360 You are absolutely correct! 2/3 of the planet is either salt water or desert or rock or ice, and therefore UNINHABITABLE! The fact is that there is not enough arable land to grow sufficient crops or animals to feed the populations of the world, the ice caps are melting so fast that within 25 years the Himalayas will have no more snowmelt to provide the water source for the 1.5 billion people in India that rely on it. YOU check YOUR facts, Mista!
@bluebluesdancer YOUR THE BEST! lol.. Look. WE dont grow the food ANYWAY, so we can ship it to WHEREVER we want. That is just a lie fed to the people, please don't eat it up! Also, Before christopher columbus, the Native indians use to drink the water from the lakes, and mountains.. Now? Poland Springs.. (AKA, TAP WATER). ITS ALL ABOUT CONTROL< MONEY, AND RULING THE WORLD!! and FYI, I love the way you think. :)
America is like a starving resident who instead of farming his land, feeds on a trail of breadcrumbs that is leading away from his house, when the bread trail ends he then looks up after months of walking and eating to realize he is lost and cant find his way home.
Oil feeds the world not money and it is lack of oil that is the real reson for this recesion if we had plenty of oil you could write off the worlds debt....
This seems twisted logic. "the public sector is a parasite", in the UK, teachers, childminders, nurses, social workers, foster carers... are public sector workers providing services to people for a fairly low income. Whereas bankers, financial services, etc are exploiting people for financial gain.
@TheRedGoblin I agree that we need some public sector workers but government does often get to a point where they think the money coming in will always be there no matter what- becoming like a parasite on the host (taxpayer).
@Jeffersonwazright, (incidentally I agree that Jefferson was right too), I am in agreement that (until wealth is re-distributed) the size of the public sector should be kept to minimum, I am a libertarian socialist /anarchist, but millions of people in the UK would be living in deeper poverty if the welfare state and public services were withdrawn. It's the economic system the federal reserve, that is the parasite not low paid public workers. Youtube the greatest scam on earth, re: Jefferson
@TheRedGoblin I like you. Keep on doing your thing. I am well aware of the scams that humans play on their fellow human but I will check out your video.
@TheRedGoblin libertarian socialist/anarchist is like saying you're a waterproof sponge/helicopter. It's so confusing I'm genuinely curious how you can say that.
@tekproxy, real socialism (unlike anything experienced in history so far) is about complete democracy, there is virtually no state apart from a small administration. The term socialism gets misunderstood as the Capitalist media has successfully in the US and to a lesser extent in the UK managed to convince people that it equates to the USSR or China etc. (see wikipedia - Libertarian socialism)
Stef says the public sector is parasitical because of the fact that every dollar paid to a private sector worker must be taken by force from someone else (or borrowed at interest in their name).
I would agree that bankers are parasites for the same reasons, not only does the monetary system directly subsidze them, but just look at the bailouts.
Dont hate the teacher, the social worker, or the banker. Hate the people stealing our money and giving it to them.
@TheRedGoblin He's not talking about the good people qualified in the field that they love like such people your mentioning. He's talking about the rather large bureaucracy that sits in the background that you don't see. He's not advocating anarchy. But limited bureaucracy. Power to the states which IS power to the people in a democracy which is why the American constitution was written in the way in which it was purposely for this reason. Its not vague. Read the tenth amendment.
well ya - follow Rand and create a global collapse - it's not hard to predict the future if you are the player in the game of how the future turns out - Rand create this with her influence equal to bible sales
you are a smart guy but bleat too much. Too bad you never grew up in your sophistication and choose to fry your brain from reading too much Rand. Out of all the great thinkers, story tellers and philosophers, she is one of the most shallow and mediocre. I don't know why you would limit your understanding so much and create so many illusions. Do you fancy yourself some knightly dragon slayer or something? So are we suppose to hop on some magical unicorns and all fly to your wonderful dystopia?
@pneumatictrousers he's a rand fan - which will slow his ability to understand the true causes - he thinks rand is brilliant so do more rand beliefs - religion has failed yet they think more religion - insanity thinks doing more insanity is the answer
@Judy101101 I liked some of his other videos, but this one is plain silly. This is the type of nonsense teens talk about who have a weak understanding of US History, politics, and economics.
@pneumatictrousers ya I use to like him but then he goes off into this Rand stuff and he can't see the insanity of it while thinking he offers solutions - just doom and gloom, sit on the couch and don't stand up for change - crazier and crazier he gets
@Judy101101 He is obsessively trying way too hard to fit his square peg Rand theories into some round hole. I nearly spurt out my tea a few times from some things he has said. He is smart on the topics he does know as long as they fit his dogma but then makes these giant leaps where there are gaps in his knowledge. It must be frustrating to nearly driving oneself to insanity by willfully and stubbornly denying and ignoring so much in favor of such historical revisionism.
@pneumatictrousers I see so much insanity today - it's comical when you think about it but wouldn't be funny unless you fully understand the big picture. he's just a big contradiction
@Judy101101 One of my good friends was a huge Rand fan and tried to apply the objectivist philosophy. He is a highly intelligent intellectual who has OCD, NPD, selfish, manipulative with paranoid delusions and sociopathic tendencies. I love him in spite of his flaws. I have other Rand friends that aren't as bad but all of them suffer painful mental agony. I have yet to see any healthy human maintain prolonged rigid mental constructs without a breakdown. I visited him in the mental hospital today
@Judy101101 When I visited him today, he was extremely withdrawn and silent. He wasn't able to express joy and found it difficult to communicate without suffering physical pain and mental agony. The healthier outlet for him has been drawing very structured creative cryptic art which is quite good actually. It helps him ease his delusions where he would obsess over word games since the intent of meaning shattered. He wasn't allowing his brain to relax and properly nourish itself so it collapsed.
@pneumatictrousers you should give him a few good books - he just needs better data to help him process better - I started reading out of 2 good books and made a playlist - put them on ipod and have him listen to it - it will give him a new launguage and processing rules that would heal him - there are about 6 books if they interest him
@Judy101101 He use to read more which helped at times but other times magnified his condition. He was an excellent creative writer but before each collapse would be writing garble. He doesn't like recommendations from anyone but will listen to and enjoys ambient experimental music without words which helps him relax while being able to focus. Instead of obsessing over words, over the past few years he been coping by directing his OCD towards Math and Chemistry classes. A break will do him good.
@pneumatictrousers he'd love these books then lots of math and science - give it a listen - holodynamics - see what you think first - what do you have to loose?
@Judy101101 I will give it a listen sure. I have been listening to material since don't have as much time to read creative works for fun as much as I use to.I'm back to studying hard science and advanced technology again. It works if I merely leave him something that he may find fascinating than describing or even mentioning. Thanks for the recommendation.
@pneumatictrousers this is a tool that claims to be able to solve every problem known to the human experience - I can't find any flaws other then it can't identify with the unknown problem - it's been curing everything, new technology that transforms toxic waiste into pure clean energy - put it on an ipod and see waht he does
@Judy101101 Could be, but think it goes deeper than that. The world and the human condition tend to be a pretty messy place where many issues aren't that easily resolvable. When he was studying Objectivism, it was around the time he became more of a hermit and built a shell of extreme defensive mechanisms towards even the slightest criticism since he absolutely hates to be wrong. He knows what is wrong with himself but it's hard to relax. Never underestimate the power of denial - American Beauty
@pneumatictrousers a genius will always go insane if they can't admit they are wrong sometimes. give that information a try - it's been curing all mental illness's for more then 20 years - he'll love it
about damn time u dumb ass lazy ass americans WOKE THE FUCK UP.
because of u bitches people in rest of the world are dying because u never took a single goddamn step against your SINISTER/CORRUPT/SYSTEM KILLING/ FUCKING GOVERNMENT. all u bitches do is feature some lame news about one ugly ass american celebrity.
but u know what, i take it as a good sign. thank God, u people are finally speaking about the problems. hopefully, we r off better from here, united, against the illuminati
@bigtarrose If you think violence is a staple or necessity in "natural selection", then you really, really need to understand exactly what "natural selection" is, let alone the basic principles of evolution. Also, your commitment to the fallacy of supposed naturalism is telling in and of itself.
I want to thank You so much for the education. In this country You don't learn these facts not even in college. Please, keep the good work to help humanity.
Guys please stay on topic when addressing me.We were talking about the success of violence in natural selection.this includes all animals from bacteria to man,and a few plants. The fittest are the most violent and second is he who can fucking runfaster than impending violence.
The human society can be treated as a single living creature. It will automaticlly fit itself to the envronment as if one system fails another one would be created to replace it. Although pains will be felt, the society will adjust itself to survive the new envrioinment which is the over developed morden finance system backed by booming information technology.
Violence never works? Violence always works. We attempted to talk Hitler out of his madness with diplomats but not until we raped and murdered Berlin were we able to stop him. Hirohito had to have his ass blown sky high before he would listen.Violence ended hyperinflation and unemployment in Germany.Bombs work faster and cheaper than bulldozers and look at post-WW2 Germany and Japan. Dresden was a worn out ghetto until it had it`s urban renewal done by Allied Bombing and Demolition crews.
@bigtarrose Where's the fiscal responsibility in borrowing billions from china or just creating money out of thin air to fight endless wars? Romney wants to put sanctions on china because of how much that are inflating their currency against ours. Yet ppl like Romney needs their loans so that we can fight these endless wars. Makes no sense to me and it's destroying the value of US currency at the expense of the poor and middle classes. Where's the value in that?
@tripzero0 What is the alternative? Do you think there would be no violence in an anarchist system? Violence stems from natural selection. All species that practice it have been here for millions of years. Violence works and the most violent win and move on to the next generation. Altruism only works in a few situations, usually because of the fear of violence.
@bigtarrose All free beings have the right to defend themselves against violence. This is also often a fundamental role of government. The alternative is to find mutually beneficial solutions to problems and then measure if the problem is worth the cost of violence. Humanity prevailed because we learned to work together better than we could kill each other.
@bigtarrose That war could not have been sustained without economic and resource support from institutions funding both sides. It could be argued that Hitler never would have been able to achieve what he did without. The V2 rockets used in the bombing of London could not have flown without a patented fuel additive held by the US Standard Oil Company (Rockefeller). With this in mind, your entire stance is almost void. It was pre-determined to begin with.
I lost all my respect for this dip stick when he started blaming women. Canada has way more social programs including medicare and we are doing not as bad as the Americans. The reason why we are witnessing the destruction of America is because the government is working less and less for the people and spending all our money on wars and large corporations who with the government feed on us.
Also, do you advocate revoking women's rights to vote? Do you think women are crazy to care about children, sick, and elderly? You mention this whole change that happened when women got to vote, but you make it sound like this was the moment of the downfall????
The average workers disposible income in 1975 was 70%, in Australia. Today, the average workers disposible income is between 10-15%. State governments across Australia are selling all our public assests and our farming land to foreign governments, and private corporations. Problem is, all western governments are preparing for the roits that will happen in all western nations, having already started in Greece. Basically they are guiding us all to only one solution, One World Government. b scared
"I think for a lot of people, it's going to feel very hard...harder than anything they've experienced in their lifetime...for a long time to come." --Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner on economic recovery, "Meet the Press," July 10, 2011
Rather than take pot shots at the man, or parse his words looking for a chink in his logic, I'd suggest that more of you at least hear him out. A large part of the problem we all face is that people tend to reject bad news, simply dismissing it wholesale rather than ascertaining its merits (if any). In this case, the reluctant to admit you've been had is the main obstacle to reading the writing on the wall. He may not be completely right (who is?), but he makes many strong points.
Stop worrying US/Europe. Your pride and joy, ISRAEL, the country you're willing to sacrifice the lives of your children for, give up your jobs for, and donate your savings to, has your best interest at heart. Don't believe me, just asks our savior. No I'm not talking about Jesus, the no-show for 9/11, Katrina or Fukushima. I'm talking about the likes of Bernanke, Blankfein and Netanyahu.
@tml4873 Well it my be closer to 10% because if you think about it the public school system educates 90% of our children. Without that eduction those kids wouldn't be as educated.
@GoSuMonSteR u r sheeple the government run internment camps they call schools are nothing but more control of our young people. They are teaching our children there propaganda wich will be used against themselves. And first against us. stock up on ur education see if it feeds u wene the shit hits the fan. Anne get ur gun!
Granted, the economy may not recover. It looks like everyone is waiting for "the next big thing" to happen. Economic downfall, 4 huge earthquakes in 1 year, wars everywhere around the world? Yet no-one talks about a solution. Is there one? Yes, there is. Events should show everyone that man is not in control of anything.and that life on this planet is short and brutal. Depend on God. He has "all power" and wants you...He has had trillions of years to figure us out, He knows what he's doing.
@bheadh erm....... god is fictional, he does not exist, by saying god is real your acxcepting that a MAN created the universe in seven days, come on man give ya melon a wobble and enter reality.
@Misguidedism Just Keep on repeating that to yourself. Maybe one day you'll convince yourself. (I hope not) I would rather believe that my life has a purpose and a plan.. rather than...I come from a monkey and the universe just popped into existence from nothing, so in that frame of logic, reality means...absolutly nothing. Sorry, The vast majority of humans find meaning in their lives...through God. Life means more than nothing. Maybe if people looked outside of themselves they would realize.
@bheadh yeas a plan to survive till the bombs fall hoping god will transport you to heaven as a reward for a lifetime of servitude, wake u please, going to church and reading a book wont save you, western governments go on about regime change and use force if they dont get their own way, they are gonna lead us into trouble unless we wake up and do a little regime changing of our own. im not trying to hurt you brother but please just consider an alternative.
@Misguidedism No, you are correct,"going to church and reading the bible won't save me". For me, however, believeing in ONE who said He was God and proved it to 1000s of witnesses..... will save me...just like He said. It is no "fairy tale". Jesus was a historical person. Either He is who He said He is or not. I choose to believe HE IS the I AM.
The problem is that the majority of Americans' "Disposable Income" now goes to (on the Private Sector Side) increasing Prices for Products & Services which actually are not in line with actual costs to Corporations for Supplies or Labor (Wages--as adjusted for inflation--are the lowest they have been since the abolishment of Slavery), and on the Governmental side, we have taxes supporting Corporate Welfare, and Despot States around the World. Government Employee Unions are not the problem.
Man, I figured if we came up with teleportation that the system would collapse because although many jobs might be created how many would be eliminated? I feel that with innovation you can create 10 new jobs but you probably eliminated 11 jobs because why is it better if it's harder to do? So like the internet you have tons of new I.T. jobs but look how many jobs are eliminated with digitization and automation...right?
@brettfoshager Uhuh, well we’re are a year further, the national debt went through the ceiling of a whopping 14 trillion dollars. There’s even more war. And more and more corruption of the cooperations saw finally the light of day. Stock markets indexes give no indication of recovery. In Europe dark clouds loom because of garlic countries profound corruption. Repression increases, like Sarkozy now wants rules for internet use. So freedom declines, which will lead to even more economic troubles.
You make some assumptions1)We have a democrocy2) We have enforceable laws.3)social programs will bankrupt us all. The economy is like a Ponzi Scheme the Left thinks that if you just make the pie bigger, it will be too big to fail. The Right thinks you just need to pay off debit, so they don't bother you anymore. This was never a Left/right thing, thats just a distraction from whats really going on. We need to arrest the people running these ponzi Schemes and make sure it never happens again.
Interesting idea about women voters; certainly, there's no denying the correlation--and the cause seems understandable. As a biologist I tend to think from animal behavior perspectives. Certainly, men are instinctively less likely to want to create "safety nets" for the other guy--when he's busy COMPETING with the other guy for mates. It's females who would more easily instinctively embrace the idea of making a "big nest for everybody."
Males have a mindset of wanting to emphasize DISTINCTIONS between themselves--think fancy tail feathers. Competing for money is a nearly perfect environment for their psychologies. Females do also compete for social "status," but are more than happy to do so WITHIN a safe and supported environment. Males are instinctively overjoyed to see their weaker competitors die off.
@TomDavid88 I am a white English man and I work for an Indian mechanic on a regular basis, as for working for Mexicans and Somali's, I live in Bradford in England and we don't seen to get many of them here, if we did and they offered me work, I would have nor problems working for them either
@binkiie4dictator Ya, well, that just proves what a pathetic country your nation has become since the War and its bankruptcy. Here in America, I know of NO white person who is employed by a minority, but virtually EVERYONE has been robbed at least once by them! And they weaken the European nations by costing them BILLIONS each year of their social programs- they are NOT an asset, but a debt to any white nation.
@TomDavid88 wow, I didn't realize just how much of an ignorant idiot you were until i read your reply. You remember what your people did to the indigenous population of America? You virtually wiped out an entire race of people when you settled there. How does it feel now that the boot is on the other foot? People will always migrate in search of a better land to live on, if that means a few spoilt Americans have to take one for the team in the process then so be it.
@binkiie4dictator The fucking Mexicans are leaving this country in droves now that there are no jobs. And after America goes bankrupt, a new Adolf Hitler will arise from the people to save us. We still have REAL men here, unlike in the slave states of the Soviet Union.

You are so right! and yet it is so simple to understand that it makes no sense why so many don't get it.
How can those being paid by private enterprise through taxation not know that their very job when enforcing arbitrary laws on so many levels is utter suicide.
Greed is the only answer which makes them blind of their crimes which is exactly what they are, criminals! protected by arbitrary legal means and un-natural law with no basis what so ever.
In real its only the hands that do the jobs in the world and not the money. The money system nowadays and from 18th cenrury is built up by stolen gold from three tulkulamas that want their gold back and then they shall help all countries and all people in the world equal with money. The stolen gold and treasures from Tibet is hided away from Dalai Lama and two other tulkulamas that shall help all people in the world equal in hundreds of years with money from this treasures. Its a false economy

The money that is borroved from the banks is not nessesary to pay back.It only a paper that is nothing worth in real when the groups of jews in USA have cooperated to own the banks there and they have been giving free loan withot need of paying cost and interest to groups of jews in USA. The groups of jews are maybe over 50 million jews that have free loan and other Americans have to pay interests on loan from stolen money and gold from the robbery from World trade center days before 11.sep.2001
Well if people are tired of doom and gloom videos, you can find some comedy in this piece because it is so out of touch and removed from reality that I laughed all the way through. Just one thing "the state strangling the private sector". We've had light touch regulation since Reagan and Thatcher which has deepened this economic crisis. The state didn't do a tap let alone strangle anything.
@ismisesean Apparently you have never run a business. I had over 30 years of running a small business in the states and I have some real perspective on the effects of government regulations, taxes, fees, compliance to endless paper requirements, and on and on. You sound like the typical half-informed citizen, not really your fault...it's your public school indoctrination that has failed you.
I was with you Steph until you brought up immigration. You should specify "legal immigrants". We do the brain drain all over the world with LEGAL immigration. I am in illegal immigrant areas all day. They will tell you real fast that most of them are illiterate. I don't want to offend, but that is the truth of the matter. The illegal immigrants do take the lower end jobs from Americans. I see it ever day. You are a smart guy, you do not know what you are talking about on that one.
You speak a lot about the effects of a welfare state and yet mention the military as an aside. But don't the actual figures suggest the opposite emphasis?
Also would some analysis of globalization meaning many jobs can be easily transferred to parts of the world with lower cost of living and lower wages. Does this not mean that there will be a gradual equalization of wages globally and in a direction downward of what the West is accustomed to.
The position that force is never the solution is right on point - but it's nearly impossible to imagine that those who wield the force [ be it military or a freaked out private gun owner hold up in his basement of stock piled food and ammo ] to just lay down their weapons in exchange for the virtue of non-violence !
As long as their is fear in the world , there will always be a instigation of violence to go with it !
We need to get past the fear - and,the question is, how do we do that ?
But I don't want to be looted by the government..... Why does he not tell us creative ways to hide or to escape the gov looting and raping.... I mean there must be something we can do to fly under the radar... I mean most of us here understands the madness... surely there is a way for us to stay sane while it all goes down....
@amcanmike -- I live near NYC and you could not be further from the truth no matter how hard you try. You are amazing but not in a good way. It's hard to believe somebody could get it so wrong.
@amcanmike -- The IMF declared the US to be in a depression 2 weeks after Bush left office. The fact that you could convince yourself that we are in a boom period when we are actually in a depression is, like i said, amazing. There is a REAL 20% unemployment rate.
@tom6612 You're a collection of shit. I raped your mother's asshole and she shit you out a week later. You disgusting piece of vile subhuman trash. Quit being a coward pussy and open up the comments section on your channel.
I lived in China for 6 years. There are very high standards of education and general knowledge there. For example, everyone is expected to know how to type competently, and if you cannot you will be deriding mercilessly. If you make a catastrophic miscalculation monetarily in your job, you are personally responsible for the loss. People are held accountable for their performance, and if your self esteem suffers, too bad.
Interesting ideas, but the "cream of the crop," in terms of immigration is not the real concern. U.S. corporations are "outsourcing," to the nth degree for profit anyway. What is a concern is illegal immigration, which allows corporations to hire for sub-human wages and no benefits, thus keeping overall wages down and the slave class under the thumb of the owners. Slave wages do not create better conditions.
Excellent points, and I will peruse more of your info on your webite. Regards.
Commentators need to stop the practice of talking about a collapse but never describing what will happen after the collapse. The post collapse period is what we need information about. Will it be nothing but chaos ? How will the rebuild process happen if it is going to happen ? When will the collapse happen (estimate) ? We need useful info. This video contains little. He's pushing his libertarian beliefs too much. Libertarianism won't work in a non-agrarian society.
@MrJosephMarzullo -- I noticed you made no attempt to explain what it means. I've seen that tactic used so often. It seems like if it was a great system it would be easy to point out why but a lot of times it is defended by saying it's critics don't understand it. Could it be that once it's ideas are presented it becomes obvious why it won't work.
@MrJosephMarzullo -- (part 1) And what you don't seem understand is that millions of people live in a world where it is not possible for them to supply themselves with what they need to live a decent life. That is one of the characteristics of industrialized society. So democracy allows them to vote for social programs that mitigate their circumstances. It's a completely natural, logical course of action on their part. If you think it's going to end you are sadly delusional.
@tom6612 Natural? They are forced to be apart of that system. Decisions are made without the majority's consent. Voluntaryism is much much better. The few, the elites, make all the decisions in a democracy, whilst the people are left with the great decisions...like mcdonalds or burger king...
@MrJosephMarzullo --- Ah very illuminating statement. So we finally see where you are coming from. YOU ARE OPPOSED TO DEMOCRACY. The few make the decisions in our perverted form of democracy which is controlled by corporations and the rich. Real democracy is the best form of gov. With all it's problems it is still better than anything else.
@MrJosephMarzullo (part 2) Wealth is concentrating. This system generates more and more economically desperate people every day. The pressure to redistribute wealth is only going to increase. If you don't see that there is something wrong with you. It is so obvious. The wealthy have nothing but disappointment ahead of them. The masses hold the real power and they are going to prevail eventually. The rich are vastly outnumbered. They don't stand a chance.
@tom6612 Statism " generates more and more economically desperate people every day." African countries have very big governments. And they are shitholes, and that's because the governments are using their citizens as tax slaves... without government they would rise out of poverty.
@MrJosephMarzullo -- Without government they would rise out of poverty ? You are seriously out of touch . And whats more you are making statements which are not backed up by a single shred of proof. There is not much government in Somalia and it's a total hell hole.
@MrJosephMarzullo dambisa moyo would disagree with you. she has written about how if african governments actually had to depend on their citizens for taxes they would respond to the needs of their people because they would have to or the people would stop funding them and rise against them. THose governments get tons of international aid money that they keep for themselves and treat their citizens like shit
@theherdmentality Oh yea? Never heard of that. Good argument against international aid TO GOVERNMENTS. But, still, how do you justify taxes? Still theft
@MrJosephMarzullo -- (part 3)The system is rapidly coming apart now. There may be short periods when it looks like it will hold up the economic forces aligned against it are too overpowering. To think that people are going to say "get rid of social programs" under such circumstances really requires a complete disconnect from reality. I'll admit there are many who will retreat to that delusion. But reality never retreats.
Thank you for not watering down the cold hard truth - it is a hard pill to swallow, but a necessary truth in order to know what to do to adjust to the train wreck ahead.

Stefan, have you ever read The Fourth Turning by Howe/Strauss? It came out in 1996 but was ahead of its time. Incredibly accurate too!

I do however agree with what you said about people finding their way into the government and taxing the hell out of a wealthy populous. This fact is of particular importance in a democratic government with universal suffrage like our own. The reason why Western societies and economies are in decay is because of the unprecedented increase in the voting franchise.
bxjam85 2 months ago
Roman government also grew in order to create new markets for merchants in foreign territories. Rome's trade was only "free" within the empire's borders. Rome's taxes grew not only to support its military, but also because of the population decline caused by the Antonine Plague. In fact, the Antonine Plague and other successive waves of diseases were the primary causes for the fall of the Western Roman Empire.
bxjam85 2 months ago

Each civilization that you mention had less population & control
bluebluesdancer 2 months ago

@edwinr360 You are absolutely correct! 2/3 of the planet is either salt water or desert or rock or ice, and therefore UNINHABITABLE! This seems twisted logic. "the public sector is a parasite", in the UK, teachers, childminders, nurses, social workers, foster carers... are public sector workers providing services to people for a fairly low income. Whereas bankers, financial services, etc are exploiting people for financial gain.
TheRedGoblin 4 months ago
@TheRedGoblin I agree that we need some public sector workers but government does often get to a point where they think the money coming in will always be there no matter what- becoming like a parasite on the host (taxpayer).
Jeffersonwazright 4 months ago
@Jeffersonwazright, (incidentally I agree that Jefferson was right too), I am in agreement that (until wealth is re-distributed) the size of the public sector should be kept to minimum, I am a libertarian socialist /anarchist, but millions of people in the UK would be living in deeper poverty if the welfare state and public services were withdrawn. It's the economic system the federal reserve, that is the parasite not low paid public workers. Youtube the greatest scam on earth, re: Jefferson

@TheRedGoblin libertarian socialist/anarchist is like saying you're a waterproof sponge/helicopter. It's so confusing I'm genuinely curious how you can say that.
tekproxy 3 months ago
@tekproxy, real socialism (unlike anything experienced in history so far) is about complete democracy, there is virtually no state apart from a small administration. The term socialism gets misunderstood as the Capitalist media has successfully in the US and to a lesser extent in the UK managed to convince people that it equates to the USSR or China etc. (see wikipedia - Libertarian socialism)
TheRedGoblin 3 months ago
@TheRedGoblin Oh so it's like the often abused term "hacker". I can dig that. Thanks for the link and patient explanation.

@tekproxy Lol I like the waterproof sponge/helicopter comparison. I agree libertarian socialist is an oxymoron.
azbpro 2 months ago
@TheRedGoblin
Equity213 4 months ago

Judy101101 4 months ago
@Judy101101 He is obsessively trying way too hard to fit his square peg Rand theories into some round hole. I nearly spurt out my tea a few times from some things he has said. He is smart on the topics he does know as long as they fit his dogma but then makes these giant leaps where there are gaps in his knowledge. It must be frustrating to nearly driving oneself to insanity by willfully and stubbornly denying and ignoring so much in favor of such historical revisionism.

I visited him in the mental hospital today
pneumatictrousers 4 months ago
@pneumatictrousers wow, ya it's really insane shit if you understand it. Objectivist? what is that? a biased human in denial of his bias's?
Judy101101 4 months ago
@Judy101101 When I visited him today, he was extremely withdrawn and silent. He wasn't able to express joy and found it difficult to communicate without suffering physical pain and mental agony. The healthier outlet for him has been drawing very structured creative cryptic art which is quite good actually. It helps him ease his delusions where he would obsess over word games since the intent of meaning shattered. He wasn't allowing his brain to relax and properly nourish itself so it collapsed.
pneumatictrousers 4 months ago
@pneumatictrousers you should give him a few good books - he just needs better data to help him process better - I started reading out of 2 good books and made a playlist - put them on ipod and have him listen to it - it will give him a new launguage and processing rules that would heal him - there are about 6 books if they interest him
Judy101101 4 months ago
@Judy101101 He use to read more which helped at times but other times magnified his condition. He was an excellent creative writer but before each collapse would be writing garble. He doesn't like recommendations from anyone but will listen to and enjoys ambient experimental music without words which helps him relax while being able to focus. Instead of obsessing over words, over the past few years he been coping by directing his OCD towards Math and Chemistry classes. A break will do him good.
pneumatictrousers 4 months ago
@pneumatictrousers he'd love these books then lots of math and science - give it a listen - holodynamics - see what you think first - what do you have to loose?
Judy101101 4 months ago
@Judy101101 I will give it a listen sure. I have been listening to material since don't have as much time to read creative works for fun as much as I use to.I'm back to studying hard science and advanced technology again. It works if I merely leave him something that he may find fascinating than describing or even mentioning. Thanks for the recommendation.

Judy101101 4 months ago
@Judy101101 Could be, but think it goes deeper than that. The world and the human condition tend to be a pretty messy place where many issues aren't that easily resolvable. When he was studying Objectivism, it was around the time he became more of a hermit and built a shell of extreme defensive mechanisms towards even the slightest criticism since he absolutely hates to be wrong. He knows what is wrong with himself but it's hard to relax. Never underestimate the power of denial - American Beauty

Where's the value in that?
tripzero0 5 months ago
@tripzero0 What is the alternative? Do you think there would be no violence in an anarchist system? Violence stems from natural selection. All species that practice it have been here for millions of years. Violence works and the most violent win and move on to the next generation. Altruism only works in a few situations, usually because of the fear of violence.
bigtarrose 5 months ago
@bigtarrose All free beings have the right to defend themselves against violence. This is also often a fundamental role of government. The alternative is to find mutually beneficial solutions to problems and then measure if the problem is worth the cost of violence. Humanity prevailed because we learned to work together better than we could kill each other.
tripzero0 5 months ago
@bigtarrose That war could not have been sustained without economic and resource support from institutions funding both sides. It could be argued that Hitler never would have been able to achieve what he did without. The V2 rockets used in the bombing of London could not have flown without a patented fuel additive held by the US Standard Oil Company (Rockefeller). With this in mind, your entire stance is almost void. It was pre-determined to begin with.

Yet no-one talks about a solution. Is there one? Yes, there is. Events should show everyone that man is not in control of anything.and that life on this planet is short and brutal. Depend on God.

Just a bit more....

Have you EVER seen a white man working for an Indian, a Mexican, or a Somali?! What a dumb-ass!

@TomDavid88 I am a white English man and I work for an Indian mechanic on a regular basis, as for working for Mexicans and Somali's, I live in Bradford in England and we don't seen to get many of them here, if we did and they offered me work, I would have nor problems working for them either
binkiie4dictator 1 year ago
@binkiie4dictator Ya, well, that just proves what a pathetic country your nation has become since the War and its bankruptcy. Here in America, I know of NO white person who is employed by a minority, but virtually EVERYONE has been robbed at least once by them! And they weaken the European nations by costing them BILLIONS each year of their social programs- they are NOT an asset, but a debt to any white nation.
TomDavid88 1 year ago
@TomDavid88 wow, I didn't realize just how much of an ignorant idiot you were until i read your reply. You remember what your people did to the indigenous population of America? You virtually wiped out an entire race of people when you settled there. How does it feel now that the boot is on the other foot? People will always migrate in search of a better land to live on, if that means a few spoilt Americans have to take one for the team in the process then so be it.
binkiie4dictator 1 year ago
@binkiie4dictator The fucking Mexicans are leaving this country in droves now that there are no jobs. And after America goes bankrupt, a new Adolf Hitler will arise from the people to save us. We still have REAL men here, unlike in the slave states of the Soviet Union.
Sincerely,
Tom David

We don't want jobs. Banks provide jobs.
Do we want people doing these jobs to provide money with usury attached ?

The state didn't do a tap let alone strangle anything.
ismisesean 1 year ago

What kind of forecast do you have for Canada? Thank you Stef.

Regards.

I ALSO THINK WE ARE IN DECLINE YET SPENDING IN CANADA IS BIG RECORD SALES IN HIGHEND ITEMS AMERICA ALSO SPENDING BIGTIME ?
amcanmike 1 year ago
Commentators need to stop the practice of talking about a collapse but never describing what will happen after the collapse. The post collapse period is what we need information about. Will it be nothing but chaos ? How will the rebuild process happen if it is going to happen ? When will the collapse happen (estimate) ? We need useful info. This video contains little. He's pushing his libertarian beliefs too much. Libertarianism won't work in a non-agrarian society.
tom6612 1 year ago
@tom6612 I doubt you even understand what libertarianism means.
MrJosephMarzullo 1 year ago
@MrJosephMarzullo -- I noticed you made no attempt to explain what it means. I've seen that tactic used so often. It seems like if it was a great system it would be easy to point out why but a lot of times it is defended by saying it's critics don't understand it. Could it be that once it's ideas are presented it becomes obvious why it won't work.
tom6612 1 year ago
@tom6612 You don't understand the concept of voluntary social interaction, and no monopoly over the initiation of force?
MrJosephMarzullo 1 year ago
@MrJosephMarzullo -- (part 1) And what you don't seem understand is that millions of people live in a world where it is not possible for them to supply themselves with what they need to live a decent life. That is one of the characteristics of industrialized society. So democracy allows them to vote for social programs that mitigate their circumstances. It's a completely natural, logical course of action on their part. If you think it's going to end you are sadly delusional.
tom6612 1 year ago
@tom6612 Natural? They are forced to be apart of that system. Decisions are made without the majority's consent. Voluntaryism is much much better. The few, the elites, make all the decisions in a democracy, whilst the people are left with the great decisions...like mcdonalds or burger king...
MrJosephMarzullo 1 year ago
@MrJosephMarzullo --- Ah very illuminating statement. So we finally see where you are coming from. YOU ARE OPPOSED TO DEMOCRACY. The few make the decisions in our perverted form of democracy which is controlled by corporations and the rich. Real democracy is the best form of gov. With all it's problems it is still better than anything else.
tom6612 1 year ago
@MrJosephMarzullo (part 2) Wealth is concentrating. This system generates more and more economically desperate people every day. The pressure to redistribute wealth is only going to increase. If you don't see that there is something wrong with you. It is so obvious. The wealthy have nothing but disappointment ahead of them. The masses hold the real power and they are going to prevail eventually. The rich are vastly outnumbered. They don't stand a chance.
tom6612 1 year ago
@tom6612 Statism " generates more and more economically desperate people every day." African countries have very big governments. And they are shitholes, and that's because the governments are using their citizens as tax slaves... without government they would rise out of poverty.
MrJosephMarzullo 1 year ago
@MrJosephMarzullo -- Without government they would rise out of poverty ? You are seriously out of touch . And whats more you are making statements which are not backed up by a single shred of proof. There is not much government in Somalia and it's a total hell hole.
tom6612 1 year ago
@MrJosephMarzullo dambisa moyo would disagree with you. she has written about how if african governments actually had to depend on their citizens for taxes they would respond to the needs of their people because they would have to or the people would stop funding them and rise against them. THose governments get tons of international aid money that they keep for themselves and treat their citizens like shit
theherdmentality 1 year ago
@theherdmentality Oh yea? Never heard of that. Good argument against international aid TO GOVERNMENTS. But, still, how do you justify taxes? Still theft
MrJosephMarzullo 1 year ago
@MrJosephMarzullo -- (part 3)The system is rapidly coming apart now. There may be short periods when it looks like it will hold up the economic forces aligned against it are too overpowering. To think that people are going to say "get rid of social programs" under such circumstances really requires a complete disconnect from reality. I'll admit there are many who will retreat to that delusion. But reality never retreats.
