Joel's prophecy of modern warfare and end times

Dude, this is a conspiracy, it's not gods prophecy but a bunch of maniacs fulfilling it, the Rothschilds (luciferians, fake jewish family, as mentioned in te bible) funded Hitler through the bank of England and other financial organizations (hitler was part of the plan, member of the thule secret society) so he could kill the jewish people as an excuse to reinstall the state of israel, come on, why would god make such a sadistic plan, it's man made, use common sense.

@AspiringPotato You are correct. But the end times and end hours include more than just the last few years. World wars one and two are still part of the end times, and I would argue, end hours. It is the 20th and 21st century that Joel was prophecying about.

You know that at literally any point in time during the past several thousand years, one would be able to find a diverse group of many thousands of people claiming that this century and the previous were the end times, and have plenty of "holy books" and word events to back up their conjecture? You know that end times fervour probably was at its peak when flagellants took to the streets during the plague era? Hundreds of years ago?

but the 21st century and the time we are living in is the only time that we can see all of prophecy regarding the end times being fullfilled.

israel did not even exist during the time of the black plague. Israel only came into existence as a country again around the middle of the 20th century. And since many of the prophecies involve Israel the end hours could not have been taking place at that time.

@AspiringPotato Pt 2 Enoch tells us the tribulation period would happen at the end of the 6th day (6,000 yrs) after Adam. So again, the end times could not take place until this time period.

2 Esra tells us women will give birth to children after only the 4th month of pregnancy and the children will live. This was unheard of in the time of the prophecy. But today the technology is very close to this being true.

@AspiringPotato Pt 3 We are told that sexual sin will be rampant and it will be as the days of Noah. The first nation to ever legalize gay marriage did so in the year 2000.

As in the days of Noah, knowledge has increased dramatically.

We are told that young men and women would rule the gov't. This was unheard of when it was prophecised, but it is true today.

And there are many other prophecies that can only be said to be true today.

Well I don't much believe in this... war scroll... especially since a 40 year war is unlikely in this day in age. A war between a large power and a small country would either end in a quick victory, or the large country would pull out after a decade or so when costs were two high. Small on small isn't significant enough. Large on large will be over in a short time, depending on how far the ICBMs have to fly.

It also speaks of each side winning 3 major conflicts withj the 7th and final conflict going to the children of light. It also speaks of some of the tribes fighting on occassion and not others.

That could literally describe any period in human history. Especially the cold war, which is now over. The cold war had many minor and major conflicts, and each conflict was often ambiguous in which side really "won" and how big of a deal it was. Predicting that people will wage intermittently wage wars, and some battles will be significant and different sides will win is like predicting people will have lunch and some will be good and some will be bad and some will be spicy.

@AspiringPotato No. It could not for the very simple reason that the war scroll describes who will make up the army of Children of light and who will make up the army of the children of darkness.

The book of revelation also describes an army of 200 million. This also was not possible to happen until the 20th century.

For comparison, the US army is 3 million people. 200 million people is very unlikely... even if it were possible to get that many able bodied fighters the logistics of equipping them would be nightmarish. And what is with this light/darkness stuff? Sounds to me like you are straining to fit the realities of modern politics and warfare to the fantasy of this war scroll.

@AspiringPotato It is a matter of reading and understanding the prophecies of as many prophets as what we can get our hands on. Different prophets have given different prophecies. No single prophet gave us all the pieces to the puzzle. With nearly 7 billion people on the planet it is easily feasible to create a 200 million strong army when nations enter into alliances.

The armies of light and darkness is the term used in the war scroll.

The war scroll speaks of Jews within Israel turning against Israel.

That is what you are seeing.

@lancer43222 Prophecy is clear that Israel will be corrupt and will turn from God in the end times. But they will still have a country as ordained by God. I made a video regarding prophecy in Isaiah that states the condition of the nation of Israel in the end times. Prophecy is also found in Revelation and spoken about by Christ.

Those who deny Israel it's nation are doing satan's work and will be judged accordingly.

God promised that he would bring back a remmnant and reinstsate Israel as a nation, which He has done.

The book of Acts tells us that the prophecy in Joel regarding men and women prophecying was being fullfilled at pentecost. This was the beginning of the end times.

You covered Joel, without mentioning that the apostle Peter says Joel 2 is fullfilled in Acts 2.

When did end times begin? And when did it, or does it end?

The fact that Peter points to Joel's prophecy proves my point. The things spoken of in Joel had not yet transpired prior to pentecost.

The part that Peter referenced is just part of Joel's prophecy starting to be fullfilled. For the end times began with the cruxifiction and resurrection of Christ and the birth of the church.

@Do you honestly believe that we are no longer in the end times period? Did Christ return after all the other prophecies were fullfilled? Have we enjoyed a 1,000 yrs of peace since Christ's return? I don't think so.

Men and women prophecying and speaking in tongues signaled the beginning of the end, but the end of end times has not yet happened.

We are, however, living in the end hours of the end times.And the wars mentioned in Joel are yet to take place.

Peter references the second part of chapter 2, but the things you are talking about preceed it as they are in the first part of chapter 2.

On what basis do you see some things in the prophesy fulfilled and others still future?

@4096x I would argue that you are mistaken regarding the point of beginning for end times. But it's a small matter since we agree within a very small time frame. Joels entire prophecy has to do with end times. Men and women are still prophecying. So that aspect of the prophecy began when Peter stated, and is still in effect even today.

If you have studied prophecy at all, you will know that prophecy writen down does not neccessarily run from point A to point B.

pl. read comment below first - a priest described in malachi martins book possession in us - expelled evill also very good and then he had to suffer for it. this priest did his JOB too well & therefore he got pressure on chest. Book of Hiob also contains some warfare instruments, like hornets and glistening sword, and hawks etcpp - please study it and share your insights on it - for there is almost nothing to be found on it in the internet. In the 1611 version KJV it states neither is there any Vampire betwixt us - Hildegard St. Bingen a german Nun saw som bacterias and pathogens in medieval times without microscope like vampirs as she described in her healing books. Thanks for this critical exposition, brother. I also have found many prophecies commonly accepted as related to the past, but which have never occurred. They paint the same picture with many details, such as Egypt flooded (Aswan High dam break?) and the street names of Jerusalem forgotten, which has never happened. Please keep up your excellent work, as many are getting critical info on translation and how specific the OT really is about these times. God knew we'd look there, after all.
