Also for some of you that complain about the touchscreen, im pretty sure some of you probably don't have size appropriate fingers. In that case, you shouldn't get any thing this small with a touchscreen, just saying.

I'd like to say i'm getting one despite all the bad reviews because they really seem like personal problems. If it says charge for 4 hours then do it & it shall turn on. If you're complaining about the touch screen that's resistant, put a lil more OOMPH in pressing it or better yet USE THE STYLUS. If you're complaining about the camera, oh well ; you should have did a little more research on the quality of QVGA which is 320x240. Some of you guys need to stop being stuck-UP.

Hey, how about trying putting your files on the microsd memory card and not the player itself so that if it does freeze up and you have to reset it, take the little card out of the player and have it out of the player before you reset it . Here's another tip for you.. Get a screen protector, and it may be necessary to get help to have the screen protector cut & fitted for the player. One more tip, 3 words 4 U, ARM BAND CASE.

I think that the earphones play the role as the antenna for the radio function of your player.

The Player I have does this too. This is a guess based on the trend that I am seeing.

I`m reading directly from the user manual ...

WARNING: The headphones function as an antenna. Therefore, the FM radio will only work with the headphones connected to the player.

Here's another thing you could do. I`ll tell it to you like this .... If the left one doesn`t do it, the right one will.

You could also get you a portable speaker system, and listen to the radio with your E-matic E6 Player Radio Function that way. The Player just needs something to play the role of the antenna so that it can pick up the signal of at least one if not more radiostation(s) broadcasting to your area .

There's the trouble. Do you have an armband case for it?

If not, try to find you one. And see if you can get a screen protector as well the next time you decide to get one like this or any mp4 or mp3 player. I have 2 players, and These armband cases are really helpful.

They allow me to play my players without dropping them, etc.

I Just thought I`d share this with you, and hope that it helps you out in the future.

Rather it be your earphones or your portable speakers, The Radio Function of Your E-matic E6 Player needs something to help it pick up a good signal of the radiostation(s) in your area, like the Antenna does for the radio function on a Boombox .

I hope that my post(s) has helped you a little bit through that with why the player would prompt you to plug in the headphones to use the radio function, because it needs a reception tool.

A. It depends on how large the cord to your headphones is. B. Walmart.com has some accessories that can help you out with that, They are FM Transmitters and Audio Plug in Jack tools.
