Actually, i Know Kurt (the geust on this show). He did collect evidence. I can safely say he's very much on the level. i can attest to the fact that this last week he has been freaked out by the 604 episode too. like it or not, the dude LIVES the paranormal, and has done his fair share of research on demonology and occult practices and does know what he's talking about.
