  • I like your spare tire carrier...

  • it looks a bit stiff to me. You have a lot of possible travel but it looks like the leaf springs are holding you back. Maybe I am crazy. And air down next time. Other then that I like the truck.

  • Pretty sick! Air down a lil bit.

  • No.... not build it like mine... you should at least take some of the comments to make it better instead of acting like you know everything... some people can be stupid and have never put a truck into dirt and make dumb comments but my comment was from experience and research if you dont want to fix the shackle angle then its up to you. but its constructive criticism not bashing you or your fj cuz it is cool. just being helpful. a bad shackle angle will reduce suspension travel, traction.

  • you should fire the jackass that build that pice of shit what the f

  • Dang.. Its funny to read all the post people write about a vid.. you should do this and that, that sucks, those suck, hmmmm... I happen to like my cruiser and change shit on it every year.. Thanks again for the vid and entertainment tho seniormanny... Rubithon is comin up.. see ya there probly..

  • Y would u do that to the front of your Jeep wow

  • @mudcr125 What JEEP are you talkin about?

  • Nice to see someone wheeling with a standard transmission, i get so tired of seeing everyone wheeling with a puss-A-matic No clutching NO shifting pussies. If you drop the air pressure on those tires they will do a better job of getting some traction. The lower your psi is the more tread touches the ground plus the tire flexes a hole lot better. Next time your out wheeling give it a try start at 15psi and then go lower and bring something to air up with diving home on low psi tires SUCKS.

  • @steven12395 yeah man i like the clutch.. Ur right on the PSI.. the first posts tell a lot about that trip.. so.. Lots of things come into play as to why i didnt make it, all good tho.. ive changed a few since that trip, Run Lower PSI in the rocks and have gotten used to my rig again.. Next time i try that i wont go fare left, or over the big rock i kept backing into. and ill even post a vid.. peace!

  • you want to know why he didnt make it? look at his front shackle angle.... that thing is set up all wrong.

  • @TheYotabeast85

Your right, inverted front shackle can't be good...

  • @seniormanny Yeah inverted wouldnt be good at all, good thing its not and doesnt.. :)

  • @TheYotabeast85 If only you were around when i built it, Dang!! I would have made that and MY cruiser would be build your way.. Maybe next build ahh...

  • Imaging and directed by More wonderful and I hope you more excellence

  • how did you get around the high diff angle ?

looks like you moved the whole diff forward is that right ?

  • @wstnets I did move it forward.. 13 1/2 in front and 5 1/2 in rear. wanted room for 54s in the snow..

  • Nothing like spending three minutes watching someone hop a cruiser and get no where.

  • @kletterman Yeah i agree! it sucked not makin it..

  • baja claws suck ass

  • @danagregory123 Good thing that cruiser is not urs then...

  • he he, need some bfg goodrich Krawlers, put back in the high torque at low end big block 6 with the 4 inch stroke, drop the air and lower the truck a bit thats on stilts LOL, i love the cruiser though! of course... oh and last feed the FJ40 more jeeps.

  • IT cause hes playing low rider. Should have been bumping powerman 5000 or some crazy crap.

and not talking crap but this guy cant drive either..sorry bud but you got to let your tires heat up and dry out their wet and hes only lets them slip on those rocks once then he clutches it.

  • IT cause hes playing low rider. Should have been bumping powerman 5000 or some crazy crap.

  • need to let it crawl...crawler will do the job and it will get up there...

  • @ToyzillaBoy Thasts it for sure and if i could only shit a new T case or $3000

  • ITs got like full air pressure those should be down around 10 lbs.

  • @samiam2714 Yeah yeah yeah,, at the time that was its first trip in the rocks and the tires were at 8psi.. they seem to bag a lot better now and i run them at 5.5 in the rocks

  • love the music !!

  • Air down!.... Duh

  • @Willysaholic

Your right, tire pressure does seem like it could come down some...

    Never noticed before :)

  • @Willysaholic 4 yrs since i had drivin it, bad line, tall gears, to much air, 8psi instead of 5 to 6 what i run now and a little nervous of breaking.. AHH I didnt make it, Duh..Oh well.. :-)

  • i may just be dumb or something, but whats with the front shocks?? theyre angled, is that good or bad? or does it not matter that much? b/c ive never seen anyone do that before

  • @JWebbie2 It is what it is and the suspension seesm to work great so im guessin the shocks are good, its also just the way i mounted them, it follows the lines since i pushed my axle out so fare..

  • Did you make it up the bowl this year? We saw it at the springs, my wife is the same height as your tires :)

  • @jeffsteiger hahaha, and id like to have a set of 54s too.. anyways i dropped in from Tahoe this yr and didnt even wheel that much, Just stayed at the springs. It was still a great trip tho.

  • maybe you should deflate the tires....seems not to be enough deflated...

  • @dunkane and yeah my tires had a lil to much in them, 5-6 psi woulda been a lil better.

  • Comment removed

  • so he stayed there forever??

  • @albertochocolate It seemed like forever... haha, oh well..

  • Damn, and I thought I had a bad shackle angle.

  • tire pressure looks high, but ive been wrong before

  • Points for the HAT and the LOWRIDER tune

  • Thanks man, its just my cruiser, i like it tho, oh and no carb, 01' vortec 5.3L..... Just Tall gears in my 205 case that stalls me out..

  • damn, thought you had it a couple times. Great looking rig for sure. Damn Carb kept choking you out too I see.

  • if those tyres are micky tompson that would explain why he didn't make it they are shit for most things

  • @ThePopypete Whatever jack ass.. Thanks for ur input.

  • It looks long in the pic for sure, Its bout 114" . Runnin leaf springs i could only go so fare out the back so i went out in the front, Im kinda partial to my body and dont wanna hack it like so many other rigs, to each is own tho. Just my design... its 13 1/2 front and 5 rear. bout 99 wide. Plus its pretty dam tall. All i know is next year ill drive right up it.. haha, well, ill see anyways.

  • Why did you stretch the WB so long?

  • Hey bud sorry, computer has been down for mnths.. The springs are 6 inch lifted 1980 rear full size bronco springs from Deaver. I love them, a perfect fit for my 46s. Still didnt make it tho, till next year then the right line and some behind the wheel time and ill drive right up it.. Peace bud.

  • what springs are you runnin, and have they started saggen?

  • Well this 40 is mine, hahaha .... My line of fare left over the big rock was the WRONG way to start. Then i kept tagin that rock backin up, Oh well tho, This was its first rock trip in 5-6 yrs, its been in the garage being slowly built. It was a great trip tho and i had a blast, next year ill have my Lomax in and a few other things. AND ill take a diff line up the soup bowl, haha.. Thanks for the vid tho man.. Even tho i look like i cant drive. :) See ya next yr.. Mark

  • @MrMarkHague Now that is one serious rig Mark!!
