  • they have just searched the area where captain long reckons the plane went down, but they found nothing. the plane is down there somewhere, but the waitt institute failed to locate it. they are searching an area the size of rhode island, and 4 miles down, that's the magnitude of it.

  • I live in Saipan and have heard some stories. The Japanese Jail in Garapan showed on this video is a very spooky place!

  • Well, as long as there are books, shows, documentaries, etc.. The mystery will thrive... Big bucks here...Japan maybe the link, hint hint..

  • Miss Earhart something bigger than T.A. and P. GUTS and vision. Her legacy? Dreams are possible...and achievable. Women occupy nearly every occupation and profession. One is even First Lady of the United States.

  • did you catch the guy saying emilia aithearts records are classifyed this tells it all she was on a secret mission for our government she was a spy thay put her in hideing in PA so that lady Irene Bolam is emllia airheart plus i noticed that Irene Bolam wore glasses as airheart did too, on the page just before this video i posted other proof its the thing most people dont reconize in frount of there eyes, emilia was payed big money to keep her mouth shut..

  • back then thay had a thing called triagulation its still used today it the round thing on the lockhead matin aircraft there is no way she could have missed that island

  • Unsolved Mysteries did a segment on Amelia Earhart and provided further evidence that she was probably a prisoner on Saipan and was executed there.

  • the chances of finding the plane in the pacific are remote. its miles down on the seabed.

  • captain long speaks the truth, his theory makes sense.

  • This show is very interesting.

  • Saipan is in the "Northern" Mariana Islands. The local people cannot be trusted in the CNMI because they were pro-Japanese, unlike Guam.

This stuff about the Japanese is almost ridiculous. If true, it would be story number one on WikiLeaks!

  • 16000 feet deep??? That might explain why we haven't discovered the plane, yet. Just let Amelia go. She was one brave lady.

  • my names amelia!!

  • does this guy know what he's talking about? the titanic was also thought to be preserved well...but it is practically falling apart in the deep.

  • Hollywood is producing a movie about Amelia Earhart. starring Hilary Swank and Richard Gere. The mystery will go on.

  • "Please know that I'm quite aware of the hazards. I want to do it because I want to do it. Women must try to do things as men have tried. When they fail, their failure must be but a challenge to others...." -Amelia Earhart 's last words to her husband before her last flight

  • People thought they'd never find the Titanic, and it was found. Although, searchers had a better of idea of where it had laid to rest.

In time, I believe that Amelia's plane will be discovered. I sadly look forward to that day.

What an inspiration Amelia is, not just to women, but to ANYONE with a dream.

  • @4everHarleys LOL WTF ? HOW CAN YOU "SADLY" LOOK FORWARD TO THAT DAY ? SMOKE ANOTHER ONE , DUDE

  • thanks for this info

  • would,nt the plane be able to float that big extra fuel tank ,when empty would be a plus ! i think she was picked up by a passing cruise ship and ended up a hostess in a bar on some pacific island serving cocktails to morons who believe in any crap there told , usually fat rich lazy people.

  • To be honest, I don't know the reasons of these speculations about the last flight of Amelia. The truth is tragically simple. You have to consider how is big that portion of ocean....... more than 2.000 miles of flight...No modern istruments for navigation..... A little error...... Lost in a desert of water fliyng around and searching... No more gas on the engines..... The end.

Only the eternal waves of the ocean can tell to us the truth.

  • The couple on part 2 of the video looks just like Earhart, with gray hair. Its creepy. Now doubt that that lady was Earhart with gray hair and stained teeth, same smile. Just pause the clip. The government covers up alot of crap and continues to get away with it. No doubt she survived. Alot of people fake their death. After seven years undetected u can't get into any trouble.

  • Dear All,

    I have some curious questions:

    (1) Since the first aeroplane was invented by Wright Brother in 1903, what does flying means to our society and the world?

    (2) What is aviation and flying means to female?

    (3) Why do ladies love flying, including me?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

P.S. I am a lady who enjoy flying.

  • Why would she change her identity from a famous pilot to an unknown banker? That doesn't make sense. If I attempted to fly around the world and succeed, I would brag about it.

  • I like that pilot at the beginning of part 3. He seems to know what he's talking about, and it all makes sense.

  • The Irene-Amelia website features pages that examine the National Geographic Society's, the Smithsonian Institute's, and even Wikipedia's historical opinions of the Earhart matter. Since 2002 the Earhart story has taken a new turn. 'Worth a look-see. In 1965 Admiral Nimitz did admit how it was known and documented in Washington that Amelia Earhart had survived under the auspice of Japan, after the public was led to believe she was 'lost at sea.'

  • i think irene IS earhart bcuz of the same structure of the face. also how come she did not submit the fingerprint test. if she was wrong she could have the money.

  • oke, i know that long time ago is but why not search the plane now? with new technolgy and new tactiek to search her perhaps we can find her??

  • they are already doing that

  • to bad, that not new episode like 1 year ago? of 2 years ago?

  • @lordsjaak I think they should try to find it too. Then the mystery can be put to rest and maybe if they could recover her body the woman could rest in peace.

  • @lordsjaak - A friend of mine who is a local "treasure hunter" I guess you might say, has been raising private funds for almost 7 years now to for a deep sea search for Earharts airplane. He says that he they plan to carry this out sometime in 2013. He is going to have a website made about this very soon, to explain his plans, and also except more donations. As soon as the website is up and running I will post the web address here.

  • @MrOldtimeCountry it sound intrest because it is still legend about earhharts and still to now they don't found airplane and maybe is plane just on small island waiting to befound from your friend. but i am intresting about his search ^^

  • @lordsjaak I will post some info as soon as I have it. They already went to Saipan in 2008 to investigate, and now they are going to do some deap sea searching

  • Was there a cut between this and the end of part 2? It seems like there was.

  • Hey you know maybe that's true! I got this from a deleted user so I don't know... I'm always looking for higher quality or original broadcasts, so watch my ISO playlist for those.
