  • Not sure if you still need the advice but if it's your elbow bugging you I have 5 tips to help it.

    1. Don't over throw, 20-30 throws a week max

    2. Don't throw in cold weather

    3. Shoulder flexibility is key, it will help you throw further and pevent elbow injury.

    4. Build up core and leg muscles and use them in the throw, not your arm.

    5. Look up the "turbo flex sports sleeve" designed by Tom petranoff to prevent elbow injury.

  • My record 40.48

  • nice

  • try to get a better push of from the left leg before you get into the position to throw and get wider on the plant...javelin hurts when you throw it ive been trowing for 5 years and it hurts all the time

  • Question: I get this pain in my elbow (whenever I straighten my arm) after throwing the javeling for some time. Any reasons?

  • Well there could be alot of reasons why it hurts. Now I dont know how you throw but it could be because you are throwing sidearm and not coming over the top. Stetch the tricept as much as you can for as long as you can before and after you throw. And when you stretch that part of your arm it should hurt like crazy but it will not hurt that muc any more.

  • Thanks!
