I'm biased, though, because my late husband resembled Christopher Noth and I'm blonde, blue-eyed, like Carrie. His personality on SATC was so sweet and sassy. BTW...love the name Christopher Noth gave his new baby son, ORION. It's the name of our 12-year-old son. Life does imitate art...:)

The song specifically SAYS " I'm grateful for each day you gave me" Aidan was SO not for her, he was a GREAT guy...but a country boy, not a big city guy with the passion that she and Big had. You can't deny that! Mr. Big ALWAYS seemed to show up RIGHT when she needed him, and supported her no matter what!!! THAT is love!

The person who selected this song did not know Carrie and Big's relationship. They had a very tumultuous past. He married another woman, he was insecure of their relationship, and he went out with other women, So on and so on. I think she was better off with Aidan Shaw; but as all women we always want the bad boy.

For me, this is a treasure, as I've only known Chris Noth, who I loved, in Law and Order. It was one of my favorites from way back. I am SO pleased to know that, in his career, Chris played a romantic role like this. I've NEVER seen "Sex in the City" as I stopped watching television around that time. Wow. Thank you. No, hon. I STOPPED watching television. Boom. I moved to this other place and didn't take my t.v. with me. I got INto the Internet and spent my time on that. Instead of t.v.

Is that different? TV. Internet? In some ways, I think, yes.

And now, about ten years later, I am so behind on tv. I saw Noth on "Law and Order"; I remember him from that. And, presently. ON youtube, it seems, people are posting entire shows on this. I came to reply to your comment and just found some. Cool.
