Ik zou wel eens een goede review willen zien van een Touareg uit 2004. Ik zit namelijk te denken om er een aan te schaffen.

you know here in the states the v6 hybrid is the fastest touareg sold here. so if this car is sluggish what do you think about the less powerful VR6 FSI sport and the V6 TDI.? well the diesel has about the same torque as the hybrid but less hp.

You got two things wrong autoblogger:

There is a V8 engine (V8 TDI) its not as powerfull as the V10 TDI in the R50 but with better performance because of the new Touaregs lower weight.

Only the battery sits in the back. The elctric motor is attached between the gearbox and the engine.

Thanks autoblogger! As usually, a great review. Just one thing. Why do you convert l/100 kms to mpgs? MPGs are only used in USA and UK, rest of Europe uses l/100kms. Or when you are putting the subs, put both figures in.

@ftpaddict With hybrids, they never do. Check out autoblogger's Lexus CT 200h review. Wouter talks a little about the horsepower numbers. Personally, I wouldn't have cared to watch anything about the car had it not otherwise been for them. autoblogger, do a video about the Prius. Yours will be just about the only one I would watch. That's how interesting and informative you are. =)

@z00h No i hadn't, but i just googled it. I'l give you that one. It looks great. Dressing it up takes away most of what i don't like about the old version.

I guess you're right about the new being a bit bland. Perhaps i am a bland kina guy. I do tend to prefer understated designs, and like lines that flow. The old Touareg just rubbed me the wrong way. Same thing goes for the Porsche version btw. Not that the new Cayenne is that good looking, but i really didn't like the old one.
