I'm also 17 and I agree with some of the other comments here. I constantly hear that modern trash being played by my younger siblings and once in a while your ears will pick up a good tune that they either ruined with rap or with a crappy singer and wayy too mutch bass!!! Buddy Holly Died in the Febuary 2nd 1959 Plane Crash that had Richie Valens and the Big Bopper aboard the plane with him but sadly a blizzard made them crash and i guess they did an awesome impersonator of BUDDY HOLLY that sounds like him alittle bit! LOVE IT!

I'm the co host of the radio show in Lubbock Tx where Dean and Matt played a few songs on the air...our studio is the very stio where buddy got his start KDAV later name changes have it now as KRFE...Buddies broadcast room is just feet from where Dean and Matt performed their set.

Their performances in Lubbock, home of Buddy Holly, were great.....and they are always welcome guests in the City of Lubbock Texas.

My daughter was brought up on Buddy Holly and Marc Bolan and I'd take her to the Buddy shows and RnR dos etc geared up in 50s dress etc but in the end she settled for Nirvana and Pink Floyd which not as bad as it sounds I dont mind Nirvana and Floyd she still respects Good music and REAL music not manufactured boys and girls you see on X factor and hear on Radio One and the rap crap garbage etc you hit the nail on the head there with your comment gina

These guys are good instrumental-wise. The singer does not sound like Buddy and the sings the same thing in the first two lines of the song. The "whoo-hoo" at the end was nothing like Buddy. Check out Brian Best as Buddy. He's a friend of mine who has really perfected the Crickets' sound in a group called Hollydaze. However; the group in this video gave it a noble try. Just my opinion.
