  • does this work on the t3i?

  • @pillownoodle24 The photos are saved in Digital Photo Professional on the laptop.

  • Please change your shutter speed your interfering with flickering of your artificial household lightning

  • where did you buy your intervalometer?

  • I @EASTSIDESOUTHCOMPTON I used my laptop

  • @TheMagicTard You said that you used your laptop to get the shots at a certain interval. The software to do this is the one which comes with the camera? thanks.

  • @whoisrikk1 yep

  • @EASTSIDESOUTHCOMPTON you can use an ti-83 calculator lol

  • @GtrQc i have one lol and a ti-84 but how would i do it lol? thanks

  • Is there any rumors of a new rebel coming out like a t3i or something?

  • @heitzelalvarenga The Canon 60d is somewhat of a T2i step up. Its close in the price range, and it has all of the T2i's features plus more!

  • @leotecasi Its a prank man

  • Tard, I'm looking for a time lapse remote for my T2i. I've looked on ebay, can't find one. What do you recommend?

    Thanks

  • @steeldustbronze If you have a laptop use that with an external hard drive and USB extensions. I've never used a proper intervalometer but I heard if you have a graphing calculator (like a Ti-83 plus) you can use that with a script you can find online and it's connector cable.

  • What the fuck. Why waste our time and yours? Not even remotely funny.

  • fail

  • What was the point of this? Didn't seem that funny.

  • what video editing software did u use?

  • @savagegold Final Cut and After Effect CS4

  • to really sell this. what you should have done was to have a camera shake, then track the frame of the LCD screen of t2i. that way it's harder for the viewer to notice any flaws on the special effect. But I Love this man.

  • Everytime you push the button the reflection on table changes. But when you playback the timelapse, the reflection stayed on the last menu display. hehehe...nice try!

  • i like how the lcd screen gets a few pixels larger when you start to play it lol...this trick will also give me a bigger lcd screen!!!! nice attempt at a hoax though.

  • @OmenLW Ya it actually increases your screen size and resolution, it slike a transformer

  • That would be a big "gotcha". It would be a cool feature though. Jerk.

  • Doesn't work on my brand new t2i. Any idea why?

  • Kind of a niche prank, if it is one. Where did Phil Bloom say it was a prank. I trust his judgment. I was kinds thinking... If the iris had to be dialed to show the clouds ona still, surely it would have had to be done during time lapse playback too?

  • A spoof apparently (according to philip bloom). Kinda funny. kinda not.

  • @jacksonofalltrades Where'd he say that?

  • Hey its not april the 1st is it :)

  • Niiice! thanks !

  • Awesome feature! :)

  • You learn something everyday :D

  • Great video! You helped a lot!

  • Would you recommend this dslr?

  • Omg, I didn't know this. Thanks!

  • Really cool indeed. :)

  • Nice intro. :)

  • I wish my dslr could do that D:

  • Very intresting feature.

  • Does this work on other models?

  • I did not know that...Sweet! thanks!

  • Very nice tip!

  • The exact same functionality as on my prototype 1DsIV

  • it doesn't work for me.

Got 550d shooting large jpegs every second

    firmware 1.0.6

are you using an sdxc card?

any thoughts on why its not working

  • Oh, if you want to know where to get the beta firmware. You need to ask Philp Bloom

  • Would this work on a 5dmkii?

  • @DirectedBySteve I havent tried it on the 5dmkii

  • @DirectedBySteve This doesn't actually work. It is a prank.

  • @TheMagicTard Nop it has the 1.06 version...where do I get that beta?

  • @fukudasa Do you have the beta firmware?

  • @TheMagicTard Nop it has the 1.06 version...where do I get that beta?

  • Oh, just a note, this feature probably only works the 7D if you have the latest firmware.

  • @biggiematt I have the latest, but it does not seem to work?

  • @pigne I have a beta, that's probably why.

  • cool! okay, im soo new to this. i have a t2i but how were you able to get the timelapse footage???

  • @krushalot99 You have to have some kind of controller for the camera that will set it to take a picture every "x" number of seconds. I used my laptop

  • so sort of like a remote controller of some sort?? would you mind sharing how you used your laptop to capture timelapse?? thanks so much in advance.

  • @krushalot99 If you have a Canon, it comes with software called EOS Utility which will control the camera if you have connected via USB

  • Nice! Quick and simple. I like it. Timer remote for my Rebel's coming on Tuesday! Thanks for sharing :)

  • That's an interesting feature. I wish the 5D2 had this...I'll have to try just to make sure it doesn't.

  • @awalker599 As far as I know, it should work with all newer Canon dslr's

  • I can't seem to get this working with the 7d.

  • @pigne The sequence of buttons is slightly different with the 7d

  • Very cool! Thanks for sharing that!

  • This feature also works on the 7D. Thanks for the tip!
