How could a band possibly have song as dumb as 'off the hillbilly hook' and then have a song like this? The words are fantastic, and they are actually singing
im 17 and im going to movti in pleasent county in wv and then my senior year of high school they offer a mining class and im takeing it hopefully i can get on for console energy i wanna be a bolter god bless everyone im scared but at least its honest work and i can raise a family
My soon to be brother in laws work in the WV mines... I'm so terrified that my love will too... This song hits a soft spot for him and me, I would say that I love you babe, Thank you for saving me... I'll wait for you <3
im a wv coal miner and theres no other place id work my heart goes out to every coal miner thats lost their life doing their job it can be rough sometimes but we all know the risk when we get in that elevator every shift we do it anyways b/c around this state theres not too many better paying jobs around here
0:31 this picture almost makes me cry. my dad works in the mines & on the mine rescue team , his mine rescue team had to go up in Massey West vVrginia for that explosion. & some of his team had to go to Sago West Virgina..
i live in west virginia nd when i heard the sago mine caved in i started to cry. i pray everyday that the coal miners will go home to their family when the job is done.
your concert at the Rememember the Miners Benefit was amazing.. this song made me tear up... it's the heart of my state.. the way we were born.. with the closeness of family in our hearts and the sacrificing for others. rip all sago miners. Thank You for this song!
this is the most amazing gut wrenching song I have heard in a long time. My daughter was a Christian murdered outside our home, leaving behind a 15 month old son and husband in iraq what would she have said had she had time. I heard this when our pastor played it as part of a sermon. Tore me apart. You guys should be touring for the Lord.
1:25 Is very touching to me because i am a firefighter too and 2:47 is very emotional picture as well so many of them firefighter verterans gave there lives on that day of 9/11/01
i know some peaple from west virginia and i know some of the people who died... i see this is a song that means alot to most people... im sorry for all of u who have family in the mines i know it can be bad and its a hard time... i only knew a few people who were in there and well... it was just a tragedy... please like this is u agree
@Iatgotg go troll the worthless garbage of music (rap) the real music and real artists with talent are right here. thos song gets to the point and explains everything with great lyrics and song. sorry they didnt rap it to you ya douce
hey latgotg suck a dick. all there music is real good. and if you dont like something dont listen to it then dumb ass. no one cares about your dumb ass opinion. thanks
Dont worry, I am not listening to them. But this band is so incredibly bad I feel like I have to voice my opinion. Wether you care about my opinion or not doesnt really concern me. You answering to my comment is saying enough.
not trying to be disrespectful, maybe this wasnt the best video to post my opinion about the band, i was listening to most of their stuff here on youtube. but this song was the last one and especially bad in my opinion.
i mean seriously have you consciously followed the lyrics and the cheesy music? lmfao
@Iatgotg look mate everyones got an opinion but did you have to post that on this video, you couldn't have gone to something eles, I mean I like them personaly but Imfao.......really, I mean it's just disrespectful dude
holy crap. amazingly bad. but the name of the band is hilarious.
as is their appearance and talent.
at first i thought they were doing some kind of parody, i was intrigued. then i realized they are mixing up lower than mediocre talent with some sort of hillbilly humour and are nothing beyond that.
the lyrics in this song are so blatant, horrendous beyond words and cheesy I almost have to laugh. but the overproduced music in the background makes my ears bleed.
@Iatgotg So trying to do something heartfelt and good, but failing (according to you) is horrible and insensitive, but doing a parody of a tragic event is intrigueing? At least get your message strait.
I have a strong feeling that this band are going to be very big in the future.
This is a superb song,it really makes you feel personally for those miners, their families and friends. Then you can listen to"Rollin through the Sunshine"and be smiling again. They are entertaining to watch too.See if I'm right.
you watch something like this and realize just how much it tugs on your heart to know that this could happen to anyone at any point. brings a tear to my eye just knowing this could have been someone in my life. The Trailer Choir deserves every award for this song. Makes me tear up just thinkin about it.
@iamboobtuber AWard?it pisses me off that only 1 person i know know who they are.Why dont people know about these guys?they are good a lot better than taylor swift and keith urban that everyone listens to.Same with justin moore and easton corbin not to many people know of them but they are great

@mollydennis8 Its very easy to relate to the song in many different aspects of our lives...i think that's why it has the pictures of firefighters, military people and families, and all that. I personally see it for the miners but i live in preston county not far from where the disaster took place and knew one of the families of a man who died so that's why. But its nice to see that others care for and are thinking of those families.
This song is a tribute not only to the West Virginia miners (dead and alive) that risk their lives daily so everyone can live comfortably. This song is a tribute to all of those that impact lives of others in good ways. Be thankful for everything you got. God bless the WV miners and their families.
this song really makes me think. i never lost my dad while he was a fireman thank god. i wouldnt know what to do with out him. and now im following in his foot steps by giving everything i have to protect and help ones in need. this song just makes you realize live life to its fullest dont hold anything back. God bless the men who lost there lives that dreadful day in september of 06 and my heart goes out to their familys
this is an amazing song, so touching. ive never lost anyone in any disasterof that kind but i know what i would say to everyone i love so much if something ever happend. if anyone out there has NOT thought about it yet, its something good to think about. all these people lost someone and couldnt say there goodbyes. but i can honestly say that my family knows everyday what i would say if i could. just something to think about. great song trailor choir.
this sons is so sweetly sad!!! im tearing up just listing to it, and ive heard it so many times.... i live in WV, and i heard about the coal mining accident a few years ago.... there was one recently, and as far as i know theres still 7 missing. :'( this song is truly amazing, completely remarkable.
This is a very touching song. It gives me chills every time I hear it. I'm proud to say I'm a WV coal miner's grand-daughter. Sadly, my grandpa died of black lung in '91. God Bless our coal miners & their families.
Also, I would tell my family i love them. my friends ill miss them and thank them for all they have done for me and someone else that i was glad he was in my life. I would never want anyone to have to do that though. I hope God watches over all minors (and other dangurous jobs) and help their family out.
im sitting here crying for the familys of the mining accidents and after reading the comments really made me cry. God thank you for everything I have and help those families now. Amen. i want to thank trailor choir for making this song.
This song is amazing. I been hearing it non stop since Monday. I lost a friend that I went to school with on Monday, April 5 2010 in the WV coal mine explosion.
It is so true. That this song is playing in the hearts of so many right now. All the miners and their families are in my prayers. .. the truth is none of us know when our final moment is, so love a little deeper, speak a little sweeter, and let the people you care about know.. you never know when you are going to be gone. .. <3
another thing i wanted to add is a just joined my local fire department and i start Fire fighter 1 this Friday, but I certainly wish I had my rescue tech and hazmat certification otherwise i would be trying to see what i can do to help the rescue crews working on this incident :(
the 25 miners killed and the other 4 miners are in my thoughts and prars, god bless them in their families and god bless the USA!!!! from btd2005 on the far northeastern end of MD I have friends and possibly family who live in Western MD and WVA and down in southern VA but my heart is with the families of the loved ones
Please everyone pray for the four miners that are still not counted for from the mine explosion that happened yesterday. Keep the hope up and pray for a miracle!
25 miners are now confirmed dead. God help the families... Keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this time.of Massey Energy Massey Energy's Performance Coal Co. Upper Big Branch Mine-South mine
my thoughts and prayers go out to the 6 dead and 21 missing in the most recent mine explosion that happened in west virginia today i hope they make it out ok and my prayers are with their families
This video is incredibly moving, it brings tears to my eyes. It asks the questions "What is truly important in your life?" "Did you share your life with some one special?" and most importantly "What would you say if you knew you were going to die?"
This song brings tears to my eyes everytime. I can't help but think what it must have been like for them, for anybody that died anywhere (9/11, bombings) anything i just can't imagine. 2006 was a horrible mining year and it will never be forgotten. WV born and raised and wouldn't change it for anything. God Bless Everyone! Thank you Trailer Choir for making this song,
I'd fly in with a helicopter to help those black men trapped on a roof to prove that not all rednecks are racist. Also, to my mother and father...thank you for all you've given me and the way you've raised me. To my future child, treat others the way you'd like to be treated, make something of yourself but enjoy life. You only get one chance. Life is too short to hate others. I love you all.
I just heard this song about a week ago on a texas radio station and didnt find out what it was called. I heard it again today. I love this song. It made me cry when I watched the video for the first time. I didnt know what it was about. Then I read the lyrics. All I can say is wow. This is an amazing song
I live in VA, and when I first heard this song is when I first learned about this. I've drawn a few pictures based off your song if you want to see them.
May God watch over those men in heaven, and their families still on Earth.
Born and raised in good ol WV remember watchin this on tv and hearin the good news that all of them were alive than seein the tragedy of only one walkin out alive Imma grown man and this song makes me cry everytime I know alot of miners in WV and I pray for them often God bless you guys!!!!
thank you so much for making such a wonderful song. I come from a small town and it means so much thank you so much...i just hope it touches everybody as much as it has and does me thank you TRAILER PARK CHOIR
this song is so touching!!! i lost my grandpa on sunday, so it makes me think of what does he wish he could say but couldn't!!! i love you grandpa and miss you a lot hope your having fun in heavan!!
we are talking about the Sago mine in science and my teacher played this song and i have heard it hundreds of times but never really knew it was about the mine.
This is a truly touching song that really makes you think
You know... This song makes me think of the important things in my life... And the lack of one of the most important people in my life, that I lost due to an idiotic choice I wish I'd never made.
This is a powerful song. It has made me open my eyes. I'm a fire fighter in my home town and it's a dangerous job, it really is. The next call I may go on may very well be my last, and this song makes me want to cherish every moment with my family that God has so graciously blessed me with. Count your blessings and show love.
This song applies to any tragedy, like the four Lakewood police that were murdered in Tacoma on 11-29-2009. They will always be remembered. There memorial service was today, it lasted 5 hours and had over 3,000 people attend.
I'm gonna immature for a second. I was the first in my family to hear this song, I had my mom listen to it and paused it when he "and you found a pen" and my mom said "What the hell?" then continued and she began crying =(
Now maturity, if all I could do was leave a note it'd say: Thank's for the support dad, thanks for not doubting me mom. Tell my friends what happened, and tell my girlfriend to move on.
I love this song! It was a relative of mine that was trapped and survived the SAGO mine incident. It's so true... sad that some people don't realize it until it hits home :(
Mom, thank you for the all the life's lessons. Dad, thanks for the reasons to keep going. Goddess above, thank you for the life you gave me and the way you allowed me to live it.
Its a sad song, but it does make you stop and think. I have this song on a CD and I play if for my family every Holiday. Its our special way to count our lucky stars that we are here to see another Holiday and that we are still together.
This is heart felt and you can't help but stop and think and its so honest it brings you to tears everyday I wait for him to come in that door Thank You for this Song its very Touching
What an amazing song. I lost my 19 year old daughter on active duty stateside in the Air Force. We never ended a phone call without I love you or saying good-night without I love you. However, as broken as I have been since, perhaps I shouls write I love letter to my love ones just to keep somewhere. Of course the spoken word is always best! GOD Bless!
this song rocked me to my core... it has been a long time since i have heard a song with such a powerful meaning behind it. it is hard to believe that there is actually a song that says the very thoughts i have had through out my life. you can acutually feel the pain, hurt, and sadness in this song. this sound be the anthehm for humanity.

another thing i wanted to add is a just joined my local fire department and i start Fire fighter 1 this Friday, but I certainly wish I had my rescue tech and hazmat certification otherwise i would be trying to see what i can do to help the rescue crews working on this incident :(

I live in VA, and when I first heard this song is when I first learned about this. I've drawn a few pictures based off your song if you want to see them.
May God watch over those men in heaven, and their families still on Earth.

I think the last one would happen already but w/e

I love this song! It was a relative of mine that was trapped and survived the SAGO mine incident. It's so true... sad that some people don't realize it until it hits home :(

I know what I would say.
LOVE, PEACE, AND HAPPINESS.

GOD Bless!

I started to cry when I watched this video. :(
It's sooo sad to know that it's a true story.:(
It made me thankful that I haven't lost my mom or dad.
I've lost my grandma and grandpa, but not in a war or anything. Although, my grandpa did fight in one of the wars.
Thank you grandpa. Miss you, even though I didn't know you that well. I still love you very much.:)
