  • i like trains

  • Great shot !

  • when the train passed, it sounded like dubstep with a heavy bassboosted drop

  • I wouldnt do that, one with all the cameras here i would get arrested because they would think im a terrorist or something lol and 2, the wind could pick it up and get it smashed by the wheels

  • How did you zoom out? it almost looked as if you were there controlling the camera.

  • @DieselSmoke92

    Digital zoom done in post...

  • that was CRAZYYY

nice to see it from another vantage point!

  • Pretty sure that's illegal.

  • @VICARI0S so?

  • Amazing video!

  • Pretty risky eh?

  • I once put my 900$ camera under an AMT train.. consisted of an F59PHI and now decommissioned Canadian-Vickers 1960's gallery cars.

  • how did you know if the train wil not hit the camrea?

  • @Thebatkinz

Ballest is much smaller then a camera and it doesn't get picked up.... why would a camera move around?

  • @Thebatkinz Anything below the top of the rail will not get hit.

  • @gumball469 i see thx

  • Bloody Brilliant Lad!

  • Now THAT is COOL!

  • Hey Lance haven't posted on any of your vids for a while. Sorry about that. Great angle and keep them coming!

  • Looks like quite a good camera there.

  • That is such a sick shot. Great vid!

  • Cool video Lance !

check out mine with the ONR Northlander !

  • Nice shot! Pretty intense!

  • great shot!

  • you can tell thats an expencive camera, quality is awesome great shot

  • Ein Schönes Video Lance

Dein letzteres Video mit den 3 Überfahrten der Expreeszügen finde ich auch Klasse, weil bei der letzten Stellung die Camera sich herumdreht, das gefällt meiner Tochter.

Weiter so Lance Daumen Hoch !!

  • Wow. That was a cool video. But i think that i would not put my really good camra like that. But any way good video

  • That's pretty cool...it's amazing how much vibration there is as the train passes over the camera.

  • Awesome shot! But I've the got the same question, how'd you zoom it out if you weren't under there????

  • @cprailes44ac

I've replied to the original question...

  • @cprailes44ac 700$ camras have remotes.... get with the times lol

  • @theGUYwho1 Hey man I still use a $150 Camcorder, I doubt my Parents would want me to be using one of these at 14 Lol

  • Were you under the Train?

  • @BrockRailfan

No I just placed it on the tracks...

  • @LanceCampeau Then how did the Camera zoom in on the train

  • @BrockRailfan

The footage is zoomed digitally in post... if you shoot in 1080p and render in 720p you can zoom into the picture with reduced perceptible loss in quality. This was shot with my Fuji HS10 (which WAS $700 when I first got it... they are cheaper now). It has a 30x optical zoom.

  • @LanceCampeau Thanks Lance

  • @LanceCampeau Oh okay cool!

  • @LanceCampeau ...so..all your videos are made with HS10 ?

  • No...95% of my Trains of Canada video series was shot with my Canon HV20 camera setup... I only use the Fuji HS10 for special shots ( long lens & slow motion)

  • @LanceCampeau ....ah ok :)
