  • Seems like the majority of the people on here, agree that customers feel that the world evolves around them, just because they are a customer. The funny thing is, if his car was at a bodyshop, it was probably the insurance paying for it anyway. Therefore, you are complaining about a charge that is legitimate, on an occasion when it wasn't you even paying for the car, just an excess!!

    I want, i want, i want, that's all people say when they are getting something for (next to) nothing!!

  • They have to have two people leave the office to pick up a car. They have just enough staff in the office at any one time and this it is a huge pain to pick up a car. They would have been more than happy to drive you to the shop or to your place of work if you would've just dropped the car off. It would've only taken an additional five minutes. Plus, you were already asked to bring the car back to the branch. Enterprise will pick YOU up, not the car. You will be responsible for charges.

    the world SHOULD revolve around you if your paying for the service, don't you think? if not, I would certainly hope you're not in the business aspect of the company. If I'm a paying customer you treat me like a paying customer, not someone who's getting the service free. think before you say things.

  • i currently work for ERAC we offer a drop off service to the body shops,yes the hours are long but its the lazy fucks who expect you to work 24hrs a day 7 days a week,just bring them back and fair do's to the lad @ kilmanknock branch.

  • I seriously disliked working for Enterprise for five an a half years because I had to deal with dumbshit customers like the one who posted this video. Sounds to me ike another situation of a lazy customer who couldn't take 5 minutes to properly drop off the vehicle at the location he rented it from. I'm not saying I like ERAC; quite the opposite, but it's people like this guy who make it even worse.

  • i used to work for enterprise, and you know what...didn't like it very much...and do you know why? because i had to bend over backwards for morons every day. people who can not distinguish between a debit and a credit card, people who think that the 55-60 hours a week you work are not enough and that we should have been open 24/7 just to accomodate them, people who thought that somehow they were entitled to a $35,000 vehicle for $10.00 a day without giving any personal info...fucking idiots

  • Under the terms & conditions of the rental aggreement you have to return the car to the company's office.

    They need to inspect the car to close the rental contract. If the car is damaged during a rental they need to write a damage report and the renter has to sign it.

    When a car is returned damaged the renter must pay the excess. If the insurance details of another driver was collected the excess will eventually be refunded.

  • I worked for ERAC for many a year and the company is strong overall. They hire great people that eventually move on into lucrative careers in other areas. What makes these ex-employees well prepared to handle the d-bags who conduct business out in the real world? The d-bags like YOU, thats who! Return your car to the office next time and they will DRIVE you to the shop. What other rental company will do that for you? You deserve a check-up from the neck up!!

  • I had a body shop that used to take those cars that were dropped for joy rides. They would use them during the weekend and for lunch runs. We would collect them with damage or less gas and the customer would scream that they didn't do it. I tell them each time that when you give the keys to the body shop you are still responsible for anything they do. You gave it to them. You trusted them. They aren't nice people. and now I charged you for 3 gal of gas. Its a contract, don't trust anyone!!

  • I do feel that Enterprise is a shitty place to work for and they do try to brainwash their new employees into thinking how wonderful it is to work for them, but seriously dumb ass, your going to get charged the extra days. Enterprise could always drop your ass at the bodyshop you know. Granted I'm not fond of enterprise for many reasons, and this I will say is one of them.

  • It is your responsibilty to take off work to get the car back to where you got it from in the first place, Enterprise does pick you up and brings you back to the body shop, but Enterprise employees are not psychic and cannot know that you have randomly dropped off their car someplace. Did you drop the keys with them? How about you loan me one of your cars and I will drop it off as I please? You're an idiot.

  • While I agree with you, I think Enterprise is a shit company that abuses its' employees and its' customers. I worked for them for 5 years in the USA and made it to branch management. I was disgusted at their treatment of their employees. Just a terrible place to work.

  • ERAC is a very tough company to work for, but customers like this make it so much worse for the employees. The employees get so fed up with crappy customers like this that they finally do step up and stop being run over by them.

  • I agree, bring the car back. If you leave it at a body shop and do not bring it back and do not let us know it is there, then you are going to pay for the extra days. Enterprise is not a tough company to work for it's an unethical one. I have seen so many people make it to Area Manager level only to be pushed out the door once their commission gets higher than the Regional rental Manager wants to pay. They do treat customers like dirt too. Always renting cars out from under them.
