We already know that the VR can make 1000 whp on OEM block and liners. Tuning wise, it seems like itll surely surpass the good old inlines.

@crzygutrsnobrdr I think the learning curve has been passed by the big tuning houses at this point though. They've pushed the VR's OEM limits, and even developed many forged parts. In a few years, what the tuning houses have done to the car should be more accessible. Silly Nissan thought their gtr couldnt be cracked lol

@crzygutrsnobrdr Aye, Hennessey has that and the GTR800. The fastest in the quarter mile is currently the Greddy SPE1000, it did a 9.6@150. Check out dragtimes and look at the various modified R35s. AMS is almost finished with their 1000+awhp build, so we will have to see what kind of times that car sets.

The new Nissan, that is to say the Nissan that's been around since the company almost flatlined in the late 90's and Ghosn took over, will never go back to I6's. The Nissan of today considers I6's to be too expensive to build when they can just tinker with their boring VQ block and get some more displacement and power out of it. I honestly hope they don't try to bring the 240sx back to N/A, they would just fuck it up too.
