The plot's even more messed up than the ending to Neon Genesis Evangelion. As a whole, any part extracted from the plot is more confusing than that ending. The one made when the writer of NGE was in an asylum, still drawing, mentally damaged due to Rei becoming an international fetish. It's even more messed up than THAT.

well, you know how japanese people are. Not meaning to sound racist or anything, it's only that some of the plots they device for anime are pretty weird, just like NGE example. I mean, the entire world dying and Shinji merging Rei and Asuka in a single being, one that he tries to kill soon afterward, is pretty twisted.
