There was one slight error in Jessi's words. Technically, it was not a "soldier" who took the flag off his uniform and handed it to Jessica, it was a USAF PJ. If you watch the video that shows the rescue, you will see that the PJ told Jessi to hold on of the flag and not let go of it. It was a diversionary tactic to help Jessi and give her something to focus on till the boys could get her the hell out of there.

I was with 555th at the time and we policed up the vehicles. Windows rolled up in some of those vehicles. Commander always said, windows down, muzzles out! I have pictures to prove it. The problem as far as I believe is that the media is too dependent on sponsorship, which makes it very vulnerable to obtaining a biased position in regards to news and politics etc. For most people the media is the only impulse they get from politics and culture and so on, if you know what I mean.

For what ever reason this story was picked up and blown up,But thankfully she was brought home to her family and I am sure that is all she really cared about at the time. There was one slight error in Jessi's words. Technically, it was not a "soldier" who took the flag off his uniform and handed it to Jessica, it was a USAF PJ. If you watch the video that shows the rescue, you will see that the PJ told Jessi to hold on of the flag and not let go of it. It was a diversionary tactic to help Jessi and give her something to focus on till the boys could get her the hell out of there.
