Jumping 2'6'' without a Horse

Hey, I am a horse rider, in myself I own 6 horses, but I have a 17hh cob/shire, and I need a little advice for jumping, I am excellent on my departure and going over it but my landing is well I fall apart and I find it hard to pick myself up, looking at your video, you have excellent posture and landing, so do you have any advice? Thanks! And he is a beauty of a horse by the way also, nice jumping without a horse! :D

lol good job! we have human horse shows during the summer at the barn i go too. :D i always end up cantering on the side walk when im walking around mi neighbor hood and mi gaurd insrtuctor tells me i jazz run like a horse.. ._. not good.

I can do that. You might want to tuck your legs to your chest. It lets you land better.

that's awesome! I don't know if I'll be able to go that high. I might start trying to do more jumps by foot once the weather is warmer. Not sure know high I can get though.

try it with a launge whip that way ur not afraid of jumping high,i could only jump 2'4 with the poles until i used the launge whip,now i can jump 3ft(so far)! :D

i can jump almost 3 ft. can i give you some helpful critisisim? ok well you should start off at a human gallop of sorts. then try to land farther away from the jump, it makes the landing better. good job, though!

i can too!!!! the highest i have jumped like that is 3 foot 3! and the highest i have jumped on my two feet is 4 feet!! i have a movie (part of pics and clips of 2008) of me jumping 3 foot 9 at my friends house

no, I've never done anything like that before. I just discover I could jump high, when last week my friend and I were having some fun at the stable. lol. I might try high than three feet. not sure yet.
