@MrGuccijames Jailbreaking allows you to alter your iPhone. Downloading cracked apps is not necessary, it's just an option.

i jailbroke my iphone 4s running ios 5.0 and it wont restore. I tried restoring with downloaded ipsw softwares 5.0 and 5.0.1 but both didnt work. in itunes i got errors 21,1600, and 1604. I tried using different computers but that didnt work either. My phone is stuck at the connect to itunes screen. What do i do because i have to go to the verizon store tomorrow to see if they can fix it if i cant? I dont care if its jailbroken or not. I just want my iphone to work

My iPhone 4s is from sprint and it keep saying that my iPhone is not activated. Did all the jail braking steps and it seemed to worked ok, i got the Cydia icon but it doesnt read my sim card. What did i miss? My iPhone is 4s 5.0.1 firmware 1.0.13 from sprint and i am in Brazil trying to use Tim as a carrier. Thanks.
