Hybrid cars are a scam. They still require batteries which are made from minerals mined, refined and assembled using oil; one merely burns the oil at a different point in the chain. Then there's the ecological damage from the disposal of the batteries. The answer to using oil isn't to use more oil. Sell the car, get a bike and grow your own food locally.

Hum, its 2010 and the price of GAS has gone up 400% this decade. In 2000 gas was 70 cents a gallon.. In 2010 it is around $2.85 a gallon.. In 1976 gas was 35 cents a gallon and it took 25 years to go up 200%... Hummmmmmmmmmm

The world uses around 82 million barrals of oil a day... times365 days each year - how many cubic feet would that bee??? How many cubic feet is in the earth?

its simple, say you bought a 30 pack of beers. You drink 29, and think, well, im not really out of beer, i have one left, and i can go to johns market and buy another 30 pack.

However, not only are you drunk off your ass, but its after 2am, so your fucked. You have the option of drinking that lone beer you have now, or you can put the beer down, and wake up tomorrow only to find that beer is now gone. The companies cant move thier beer trucks cuz theres no oil you dumbshit nascar fan.

??? Peak oil production occurs when we've used up half the oil. What the Esso geologist said was propaganda: he tried to argue against something that the peak oil proponents do not actually believe in.

Exxon/Mobil is owned by the Rockefellers. It's all a scam to raise prices for profit and to control the markets/people on a global scale. There has been plenty of new oil fields discovered over the past 3 decades. They capped them to wait for the prices to rise.
