Get a new intel CPU I5 or I7 and 4GB Ram. Nvidia 250 or better on the graphics card. A sata drive should be enough but if you want some extra kick get a solid state drive (in addition to your Sata) and install Arma II on it. It doesn't have to be an expensive drive a 60GB should be enough.

no the way you land a heli is by landing it horazantaly or how ever you spell it because the helicopters arent made to land straight down vertacly because the helicopters body is to big and when you try to force it down its unstable and you go down to hard

At last the PC allows people to Mod the game like in the original Arma. I play on a ACE Mod for Arma and can't wait for Arma 2 to have that mod.

I definately agree, i was a huge sony fanboy till i got a decent pc that could run games. Now instead of buying devil may cry 4 for the Ps3 i got a ported version to pc and dowloaded some drivers that let you use the ps3 controller as a gamepad and am playing that now lol.

Why though? You definately won't have the 64 player support on the 360. The PC version will be better because there will be dozens of extremely good quality Mods, like graphics mods, vehicle mods, soundmods, optimization mods, etc etc. You won't have any of that on the 360.

The 360 players will all have voice support day one. The controls should be pretty good on the 360. Sure the PC will be better but the 360 version shouldn't be counted out.

well, since the 360 is a microsoft product and very similar to a computer(or so i heard), i think Bohemian Interactive would be able to tweak it so that it works. also in an interview with bohemian interactive they said that they had been working on a xbox version parralell to the pc version...

also something funny that might indicate that its coming to the 360, someone i know found this in the ArmA 2 PC 'Bin.pbo' file

But there is a limit. I mean you can't just update a 360 so there is a certain hardware limit for 360 (or any other console) games. PC's on the other end keep being updated. So the games can be updated too. I mean NVIDEA developes a new graphics card almost every day XD

Lol poor chopper. I cringed on that second landing hehe. But you will have a blast getting better at chopper piloting. I've done it since the first Arma got released. Satisfying when you can fly well, accurately and get your team mates into combat and out of it safely =)

land too fast man! my 2cents : try going down more slowly and put the nose upper than that but not for too long, bring the nose down with linearity and finish the landing, use more of "q" and "d" keys (azerty)

The landings are too heavys for a helicopter without wheels. Try to land vertivally, poor chopper, lol.

I crashed so many times. I did a better run before this one but it didn't capture right. If you land too hard you crash or you damage the helicopter. If your piolt gets out it's over the helicopter is to damaged to fly.

I have a Core 2 Quad 2.4GHZ 4GB ram and a NVIDIA 250

I will need hours of flying to be good. Just doing the training took me around 2 hours. I did better one time but was unable to record that time. I still don't know why the video is loosing sound going to youtube
