I test drove the basic T5 with standard footwear and was extremely pleased with the car in all respects. I'll bet it is superior with the optional Dynamic package for the larger wheels and tires. I want one.
This is ok, but you can get all the same info by reading a brochure. Except for the test of the auto-brake, and lane departure warning, you see nothing about how the car rides or handles, whether it is quiet, has comfortable seats...
This will be my next car. Awesome car and Overseas Delivery Program? Yes, please! I wish I could afford the T6 R-design, but I am just an average joe in my 20s. Good review.
There is an option projector headlamp with a xenon lights on both the T5 and AWD T6. I believe that Volvo's being about "safety first", xenon lamps should be standard on all vehicles. The difference is incredible with night time driving. The statement about xenon bulbs on non-projector type lights is true. The first generation Infiniti's and Prius had xenons in non-projector housing with very poor light dispersion. Ever been head-on to a civic with blinding blue lights?... non-projector housing
@frank55656 Just because they don't have projector headlights doesn't mean the bulb isn't Xenon. I'm not sure whether or not these have Xenon bulbs because it's not on the Volvo website. (though projector headlamps are available on the T6 model.)
For example, though, the Prius and other Toyota vehicles may have Reflective headlights, but they have a special bulb that is brighter than the halogen bulb, which has a bluish-white appearance to it.
@stwartfan123 Except iDrive is now easy to use and the dial is actually right at your finger tips. That iDrive system used to suck, but it's probably the best one out there now.
@BigCivic Yes, this I know. He said that it looks like My Ford Touch, but BMW's iDrive came out first, and looked like this before Ford's did. That's all I was really saying

This is not the 2012 model, it is 2011. The 2012 model is not even in production yet.
Production starts may-june this year.
You can only place orders for 2012 model year right now.
hanssonrickard 10 months ago
@hanssonrickard I believe all T5 models are sold as 2012 models whereas the T6s came out for the 2011 year.

@hanssonrickard this is a 2012 s60! For 2011, the only engine was the t6 awd
