@kolkukosta Two things, 1: naxx has been around since pre-BC. It was simply moved in WOTLK (and altered slightly.) 2: There are things called BETA test realms, these let players test expansions/new patch raids so they can report buggs before release

Hmm, well he has Haunt, so he obviously has @ least 51 into the Affliction tree, so oh boy, you should be a DoT master there.

Shadow Bolts are only used as fillers... as well as Drain Soul when the target is under 25% health, usually. So let's see here:

Haunt > UA > Immolate > CoA > Corruption > Siphon Life

Lol I did this with the guild on saturday.. we sadly didn't have any casters on and couldnt be f'd finding any so we took 3 rogues 2 ret paladins' and 1 dps warrior, feral tank and prot warrior + our 2 healers.. We downed him in 4 mins 27 seconds. Funniest shit ever. We all pulled around 1.6-2.2 (only the warrior and the rogue where at 2.2).

just did him and he does do locust swarm. I had 10x the aggro of any of my dps and it was easy. only problem i had is it was a pug and some of the dps were s*** but if u have all dps at 1200dps or more u have the fight. you are correct about this guys dps sucking though. they should be able to at least do 25% before each kite.

Yes... you do need it... or at least as a tank you do. You have 2 rotations now... one for generating threat, and another for DPS'ing. If you start noticing someone creeping up on you, you move back to your threat rotation for a bit.

As for tanking impossible to fail at... please try it sometime, wipe your group repeatedly thinking that all you have to do is stand there, and smack things, then come talk to us some more.

Threat is impossible to fail at... tanking is NOT.

Well of course, i was basing my statement off the 'new approach' to raiding, where blizzard wants more people to have access to raiding, but still maintain the content for the more hardcore players...

I guarantee you most people will clear 10 man naxx within the first week of hitting 80, but only 2 or 3 guilds will have downed Malygos 1-1.5 months after being 80. I think blizzards plan is to let those raids last for a month or so, then have Ulduar ready for the guilds that cleared the content.

the only reason why they have a Naxx2 is because blizz messed up the sequence of events (lore wise). we can expect to see another aq-ish instance due to the remaining "old gods" in the world but if it happens it would be after the lich king is killed

It will definitely be harder, don't worry. Anub'Rekhan is the first boss in the spider wing, and he is pretty much the easiest boss in the instance.
