@Northgtabeast first of all, look at the graphics in comparison to an average game. i would be ok with the graphics, if it would work on a freaking trash pc, because thats what the graphic is like. second, normally, a pc game does not cost 60 bucks, at least not in my country. last time i checked, most of em cost around 30 bucks. and no, i didnt got more then off a normal game. for comparison, i had more fun and features in final fantasy 7. and i paid 9,99bucks. u mad bro?

My opinion is that notch doesn't owe anyone updates or any additions for minecraft. People paid for being able to play minecraft and updates are a free bonus. I also have an opinion about updates that are said to be half done. I think that having half of a new feature is better than having none of a new feature. Features don't have to be finished, if someone doesn't like it they can pretend that there isn't any new feature. Anyway the updates may already be complete and only seem like they arent

While I too would like to see more content, and would like to see notch implant all these things, and I, like you, wonder why they are not, I like so many other people, don't go bitching about it and understand things will happen in time. Oh, the modders are working sooo hard... You know the very most of them are reusing a lot of code that notch made? Notch wrote all the code, they are only modifying it, a few modders create lots of new code but that's it. You are huge whiner you know that? You say beta means nothing? Nothing was added? Liar! He fixed a huge bunch of bugs in SMP that everyone have been complaining about forever, and finally made it survival multiplayer not some classic style game with a few more features. IMO it is one of the better updates minecraft have had. All SMP needs now is some clever prediction so that mobs don't rape your ass cause of latency and SMP would be perfect.
This DOES NOT MEAN that updates are going to be pumped out. Notch did not promised updates on a weekly basis. He did however promise that there is going to be lots of bugs in the game since it is being developed.
The only reason you have your stockings in a knot is because you love Minecraft so much, you can not wait to see what new features are in-store for this awesome game.
The last 3 updates were horrible. Whooo.. dye's that can't be grown for sheep that can't be farmed and who's wool can't grow back. You know... unlike in real life.

Would also help if he made sure to add a few visible updates every 2 weeks like, say, a few pieces of furniture like beds (as opposed to making them with signs and wool).
