I saw you at the Englert Theatre in Iowa City. I gave your album to a dear friend, who loves it as much as I did. I am so glad that I got to see you in person. Talent such as yours is truly a gift, a thing of beauty. Thank you for having the courage to share it. Peace.
I also immediately thought of "Naked As We Came." A visually beautiful piece of film (I felt the second person broke the flow, having been left with the despair? exhaustion? sadness? confusion? of the first person we saw) and completely evocative of that sense of both loss and hope that accompanies a relationship's end.
Absolutely magic. And the film- the colors of things- no stainless steel in sight! What a relief.
