I have dash for cash's Grandaughter she has a record right now of 31-4 we have raced her all over the U.S. except at the kentucky derby. she is a really good horse and she is really really fast.

@wallyC54 How would you even race her in the Kentycky Derby anyhow? If she has Dash For Cash she's most likely an appendix or full bred quarter horse. Kentucky Derby is only for thoroughbreds. Lol.

I bought a Dash for Cash gelding as my "1st" horse after having a bad experience with my actual 1st horse. His name was Cash and Imagination. Twin to Dash for Cash! Had 4 white socks, and was lighter though :) But oh my god. He was the best horse EVER. Trails, cows, gaming, and personally LOVED the show ring in western pleaure... Trained him myself. Had perfect conformation, and became a champion in my area:D I'm sad I had to retire him.  DASH FOR CASH IS AMAZING. Quality looks and personality!

Guys, Dash For Cash was such and influential stallion, a sire of sires, and a broodmare sire of sires that it is hard to throw a rock in the world of quarter horse racing and not hit a horse with Dash in it's pedigree.

Dash For Cash's place in QH racing history is cemented. Not only as a race horse,but as a tremendous sire of racehorses,sire of sires and as a broodmare sire. He sired a GREAT sire himself,First Down Dash. This is incredible considering he was basically a 7/8 TB! But his blood was royal with the ever present Three Bars TB/Top Deck TB nick in his line. He was laced with the blood of Domino TB. A true legend to be sure,and one I freely use in my breeding program!!

I own a son of dash for cash. HE didn't go on for racing but for a barrel racer. The owner had to stop because they couldn't get him to stop shouldering the 2nd barrel. But he is the best reining horse I have ever seen and also western pleasure

I have a Grandson of Dash for Cash. He is by far the most beautiful, intelligent, athletic horse I have ever been around. Qualities only second to his loving nature. He looks so much like his "grandpa"... what a awesome line and I am so honored to have experienced this type of horse once in my lifetime.. When I ride him, I feel I am truely on top of the world.. they just don't come any better...

im srry but i tihnk thoroghbred racing is more exciting no offence. and i think the names in quarter horse racing is kinda weird and 1 question how long was a quarter horses longest race and how long can a quarter horse racer run for

@shahrzad1893 The most common "long" race for quarter horses is 870 yards (just shy of a half mile) but there are races of 1000 and 1100 yards on occasion. Interestingly quite often when quarter horses meet at a half mile (as close to common ground as they can find) it is the quarter horse who comes out on top. You may think thoroughbreds are more exciting, but when it comes to pure speed it's the quarter horse hands down.

I have a Go Man Go grandson in Australia. He's old now and canters stiffly but a more loyal, bold and breathtakingly fast companion I couldn't have asked for. His remarkable speed was the cause of many "wins" as a child and his courage over jumps saw a previously scared little girl regain her confidence over jumps after a bad fall. Watching Dash For Cash in action brought a lump to my throat and a gratitude for knowing these beautiful horses.
