no the best state team of all time was the team of 1941 we were undefeated and scheduled to play in the nationalchip and guess what happened.... the damn japs bombed pearl harbor and all bowl games were cancelled. fuck japan all they give us is soy sauce

That's not accurate. Alabama played in a bowl game on January 1, 1942 against Texas A&M.

Way to make up facts. The 1941 MSU team was not undefeated, but had one loss and one tie. They didn't play in a bowl game that year because the Cotton Bowl selected Alabama over State even though MSU had beaten Bama 14-0 in Tuscaloosa that season. The 1940 MSU team was undefeated (10-0-1) and won the Orange Bowl 14-7 over Georgetown.

@Fordguy02 He gave them 2 points, because with the punt, they had the opportunity to get better than decent field position....With the Kick off, they had a better chance at forcing them to sustain a long drive to win the game...which they really hadn't done almost all day....He played the odds and lost....

I don't know it just seems like Miss State always has trouble with their offense. They usually have a ok defense, but if their offense can develope they could be something to reckend with.

Well, they usually do have a decent defense. Their offense is almost always horrid. Being a Tide guy, it was hard to figure out who I wanted to win this one, but I did laugh hysterical when it backfired on Teletubby.
