My question is legitimate. Is there any bibical premise for this belief that Mary is to be somehow exalted?

@Shawnferrie  “Behold from henceforth all generations will call me blessed.” (Luke 1: 48) Then Mary tells us why she will be called blessed by all generations: “The Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name.” (Luke 1:49)

@dixiestine Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I admit.. that does not speak to me as a basis for exalting her in any manner other than to recognise that she was a willing vessel. I keep reading comments about how Mary is our intercessor yet I do not understand how that is when I have always understood the scripture to state that Jesus is the only intercessor. It certainly gives me reason to re-read Luke. Thank you again for taking the time to respond. Be blessed
