I love steve aoki, but i really hate when dj's play remix's like this and act like they are mixing most of it by twisting nobs and touching all these buttons, like i believe he is probably taking out samples for the transition for some parts but i mean come on he is almost acting like he is playing the whole song. But I guess if dj's didn't make it look hard then everyone would want to be a dj, and that would suck.
@Toomster12 His version here is drastically different. You can just hear the additional levels he added this the original. The original is terrible, in my opinion. Aoki's mix is amazing.
@Ethan54136 There is nothing drastic or remotely different to this. You must of heard a different remix the first time, this is the original Douster remix, unadulterated. Just saying.
@Toomster12 you could argue that this is just our generation of music. half of everyone already is trying to be a dj. you have the producers and you have the consumers. it's the exact same as any other music generation with at one time or still currently people getting together all the time to start a band. only difference is with technology continually to improve i think it takes a lot less creativity to be a dj these days.
@chtbjunkie62 it does and it doesn't...you still need a lot of skill to pull something like this off and come up with the idea. half of the people that say anything related to this music being easy to pull off couldn't even pull an idea like using douster as an intro for a song out of their little head. yes it is easier to do it with modern technology, but what did the acoustic player say to the man that invented the electric..... ya diggggggggg?!?
@Toomster12 i feel like the reason he his twisting knobs and shit is because he wants the crowd to feel like hes playing hte music. unlike bands in genres that use guitars, basses, and drums, dj's cant really do anything at their concerts besides play their playlists, while a guitar player can play his guitar... These songs are a lot harder to make than people think and take alot of talent to make, but live shows dont take talent. the crowd doesnt wanna feel like their just listening to a stereo
@Toomster12 he could be doing that... but i think he may be adjusting the levels to conform to the room, audio system, etc... he has his headphones on, so he may be listening to the next track in line and adjusting those levels? regardless, if it makes for a good show and people believe he is "remixing" live, it makes it fun for the audience? i think its a win win, but thats just me. lol =]

@chtbjunkie62 . With a flooded market, it needs more creativity and a little something new to make it as a DJ or a producer.
